  • We loved our stay in Antonello's farm, his way of welcoming us, a nice moment talking with him when we arrived, a glass of his father wine, a good bread with vegetables of the garden, beautiful garden and vew, good vibes with young people working in the farm, with his father, big table on the terrace, very nice bedroom and bathroom, we immediatly feeled very well there, Antonello is a nice and charismatic man who takes time to meet people, thanks also to his wife. We both recommand it strongly ! sandrine et paul

  • Antonella and his family were so friendly and accomodating - they bent over backwards to make you feel 'at home' - the grandad Giuseppe (we loved him!) was a great character - he helped us with the BBQ and allowed us to sample his vino, olio, home grown produce and was extra kind (he couldn't speak a smidgen of English!) - you MUST go stargazing here - its very rural so is the perfect spot. Our room was clean and spacious and there were other guests all as chilled and friendly as the hosts - such a beautiful location with great recommendations (we loved the cold lake - thanks Antonello). Our only regret is we didn't stay here longer - we so wanted to hike with Antonello into the mountains and see the waterfalls. Charis and Jordan

  • What an amazing place and family!! A truly Italian welcome and stay there, very good food, very comfortable accommodation and such a friendly family!
They have a great philosophy of growing organic fruit and vegetables, fresh eggs, their own wine and olive oil even! Maria teaches how to make fresh pasta, a delicious must-try. Giuseppe loves to show his animals off and all his gardens, and chats away in Italian, ever cheerful and patient. Antonello has lots of funny stories to entertain you, having travelled and meeting many people there, very helpful and loves to teach you some Italian, if you like to.
Lots of things to do, walks, horse riding, visit to watch pecorino cheese being made the real way.
Just a short distance to town, 2 hrs from Rome, so convenient to explore the beautiful surrounding area, mountains, valleys and waterfalls.

  • We took shelter from the cold March rain for three nights at Antonello's place near Sora. We actually stayed in a beautifully restored apartment with a kitchen in Via Piana, about a 20 minute walk to the farmhouse. Antonello's mother served us tasty rustic fare each night, and we enjoyed sitting by the fire speaking (as best we could in Italian) with his father.
The mountainous terrain around the farmhouse is beautiful for walking and gawking, which we attempted during the brief lulls in the rain. We hope to go back in the summer or fall when the sun is out and the farm's spoils at peak.

I grew up on the farm in the village of Pescosolido on the edge of the Abruzzi National Park. I have studied English and Spanish literature. I have travelled extensively. After I finished the university I started working on the project of the farmstay. It contains everything I love the most. Meeting people from all over the world. Promoting a healthy food, outdoor activities and nature.
