Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • This is an exceptional apartment located, as the ad title states, in the perfect location! The apartment is large and in walking distance to all major Dublin sites and attractions. In addition to its amazing location, the apartment was clean and felt more like a long-term stay hotel. I would definitely stay at this apartment again, and my standards are very high. Nancy and her colleague made getting to the apartment easy, and we were welcomed immediately upon arrival on Saturday evening and shown around the apartment. Great overall stay.

  • Nancy, thanks again for another great stay in your apartment! The apartment is as described, clean and located in the heart of Dublin. Many shops and bars are in this area. Great communication with Nancy, easy check-in and check-out. Looking forward to my next stay! Cheers, Georg

  • Great Location from the Temple Bar. We took the AirCoach from the Airport to O'Connell Street, and it was a short walk to the apartment. The apartment has everything you need to stay for a few days in Dublin. We didn't get a chance to meet Nancy in person, but she was quick to answer any questions via e-mail and helped us reserve a taxi to the airport after our trip. I definitely recommend booking with her.

  • Very happy with everything - Nancy was very responsive and made it easy to organise the stay at short notice from abroad.

  • The apartment was really in the center of the city, which means it comes with a lot of street noise. Overall it was clean, but it was a bit rundown. The pictures are accurate, but there is no picture of the bathroom. This especially was old and the water source was so noisy! The window in the bedroom was broken and didn't shut completely, so there was no way to block out that street noise. I told the host about this and she said it would require a lot of paperwork to have the window fixed. Check-in was a bit of a process and we had to wait a while before anyone answered the door. For a couple like us who was not traveling on a budget, we wished we had something nicer. For younger college kids trying to save some money and be in the center of the party, this place would work!

  • We had the pleasure of staying in a nice apartment catering to all our needs, and meeting our every criteria.
The apartment was located in a beautiful part of the city, close to the heart of Dublin.
If you truly want to experience what Dublin has to offer, there is no better place to set up base camp.

  • Great location just walking distance to Temple Bar and center. the apartment is just too small and crowded for four people. Nancy was great and helpful.

    August 2013
  • The flat is very well located in the center of Dublin and everything is as described.
And Nancy is very kind and considerate.
    i recommend this flat !

  • Nancy is a GREAT host. She's very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about Dublin. She offered advice on restaurants, bars, shopping, and called us a car to get to the airport. All solid advice. She got us fans when it got warm and accommodated a last minute addition to our reservation. The apartment is located right near the Temple Bar area, meaning it provides easy access to everything that Dublin has to offer. The location is great. The apartment is clean and well kept. 4 of us stayed there--2 in each room. Definitely recommend. Street noise is only an issue on weekend nights--there are bars nearby. But it's not a big issue, just periodic groups passing by. The beds are not the best, but are fine for a short stay. Other than that, no complaints. Overall a great stay in Dublin.

    July 2013
  • I stayed at Nancy's place for work. Nancy was very quick with emails and helpful with the check-in and check-out process. The listing was very spacious and would easily accomodate 3 to 4 people. There are many bars and restaurants around and during my space was noisy at night. The pictures of the hallway and door are of a nearby listing not this one but the inside of the listing is accurately reflected. Cigarette smell was very present in hallways and faint in listing.

My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me. We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening. Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
