The neighbourhood is very sympathetic, with a mix of cafees, galleries, and exclusive clothing stores. Interaction with Guests
We love hosting people from all parts of the world and to share the secrets of our wonderful city. The great converations, all the cultural exchange and stories that travel through our everyday life thanks to AIRBNB, enriches our life immensly. You are very welcome to come and stay with Lovisa, me and our two wonderful cats Hjerte and Chagall any time.
Our neighbourhod is lovely and quiet. There are lots of old trees, beautiful architecture and nice cafes. The Litterature house is within walking distance, so is the Roayl Castle Park. There are good cafes with well known baristas around our house, and not to forget ÅPENT BAKERI, a wonderful bakery that opens in time for breakfast every morning, 7:30. They have wonderful french inspired sourdough bread, fresh jam and real butter, and an outside space that´s absolutely wonderful. In Frognerveien there are all kinds of really nice restaurants, Sushi, Indian, Italian Pizzeria, so if you like to just strall around you don´t need to go far. Pluss since they rebuilt Tjuvholmen, you can have morning and evening swims in the ocean, walking ten minutes there and back.
It´s easy to acsess most parts of the city by foot. Or else there are buses and trams two minutes away in all direction. Also commuterboats for the islands that makes it possible to go for picknicks on one of the nearby islands. A real treat.

Our stay was very pleasant. Mona gave detailed instructions how to get to her apartment and suggested things to do and places to see. The apartment is centrally located and is close to everything. The room is clean and cozy. We highly recommend staying with Mona and would love to visit again!
Amazing house, amazing neighbourhood and amazing Mona! You really deserve the Super Host Prize!! The house is just as described in the article, the neighbourhood are really amazing, i think the best place to live in Oslo! Free Parking outside the house and closed to busses and tram's stop! Mona provides us everything we needed (even coffee!!) and suggested us great places to eat out and to visit. She's really kind and helpful :) We definitely can't ask for more! Thank you so much!
It was really a nice experience staying at her place, we had a nice chat even though it was late. Her flat is very well located a very comfortable bedroom
Mona is very welcoming and friendly, she is multi-lingual and is gracious in every way - she truly enjoys being able to share her beautiful home, 2 cute cats, and Oslo itself with visitors. The location is ideal, within an easy walk (or various modes of public transport) of downtown Oslo, wonderful parks, lots of shops and restaurants. Oslo is wonderful, and we would consider ourselves very fortunate if we were able to stay at Mona's on another occasion.
I really enjoyed my time in Mona's home. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location, but it is Mona's hospitality that made my stay unforgettable. She is so helpful in touristic advice and makes sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. She is also so easy to have a nice conversation with over a cup of tea. Everything is clean and charming and looks just like the pictures. I would happily stay here again.
Mona's apartment is in the quiet neighborhood in the city center. Our room is large and cozy. Mona is very friendly to give us a lot of advice to visit Oslo in detail.
Mona's beautiful kitcthen and it's atmosphere, her coffee and her big heart. The calm energy and the welcoming vibe and soul of this woman...Wow!

We love people, good food, music, traveling, and know the value of staying with local people to get the most out of visiting a new city. We would love to make your Oslo stay a wonderful experience.
