Staying at Mona's place was an extremely happy experience as our hostess is friendly and helpful person, providing useful info during our stay. With fully-equipped kitchen and generosity from owner, we are free to use all the spices and nice strong coffee, making good meal definitely not an issue. The most wonderful thing is the heated flooring of the bathroom making showering is an enjoyable thing even in cold weather. I would definitely recommend to others for this lodging place in Oslo city.
Mona and family were very friendly in their welcome, and provided me with some good ideas about visiting Oslo, and a very handy practical map which I'd forgotten to pick up at the station on my arrival. A warm home with a lovely feel to it and in a lovely area of Oslo, handy for transport and shops, but also not far from interesting galleries, parks and the harbour if like me you enjoy walking.
A really good stay! Because Mona Johanne and Lovisa are so kind, easygoing og funny to talk with, you feel very welcom and home.
The house and neighbourhood is very stylish, it's at lot of cozy cafes in the area, with nice people. The apartment is artistic, personal, nice, clean and with high ceilings :-)
It's very easy to discover "Oslo" from this place, which is a safe area.
This was an amazing experience! Mona and her daughter provide wonderful conversation over tea. The bed is cost and the location is very central without being in the middle of tourists. Thanks so much for a great time in Oslo!
Everything was absolutely perfect!!!! I could cook my lunch in a very nice kitchen that I could save money for meals. The room was so cozy and the bathroom was so clean,in a warm floor. Also, it was in good location so everywhere was so close from house. The host,Mona was really friendly and very helpful so I could enjoy Oslo better. Thank U Mona!
Mona is a pretty welcoming host. Give us sufficient directions as we arrive the house. House is cozy and well preserved. Easy access by tram and bus from city center. Great place to stay in Oslo !
Mona and her daughter Lovisa were wonderful hosts who made me feel very much at home. They were calm and easy to talk to, and also extremely helpful. The house was lovely and cosy, and in a beautiful neighbourhood - a great place to shelter from the snow. I was sorry to leave and only wish I could have stayed longer!
I am a filmmaker running the production company "Freedom From Fear" since 1984. I write and direct feature films for cinema, shorts, documentaries and music videos.
Me and my daughter live in the appartment and this is our HOME. We have two beautiful cats and a hectic schedule. My daughter has her own horse and we go off to the stable five times a week. We love people, good food, music, traveling, and know the value of staying with local people to get the most out of visiting a new city. We would love to make your Oslo stay a wonderful experience.
You are very welcome to try out our room, our comfortable bed and a lovely neighbourhood.
