The neighbourhood is very sympathetic, with a mix of cafees, galleries, and exclusive clothing stores. Interaction with Guests
We love hosting people from all parts of the world and to share the secrets of our wonderful city. The great converations, all the cultural exchange and stories that travel through our everyday life thanks to AIRBNB, enriches our life immensly. You are very welcome to come and stay with Lovisa, me and our two wonderful cats Hjerte and Chagall any time.
Our neighbourhod is lovely and quiet. There are lots of old trees, beautiful architecture and nice cafes. The Litterature house is within walking distance, so is the Roayl Castle Park. There are good cafes with well known baristas around our house, and not to forget ÅPENT BAKERI, a wonderful bakery that opens in time for breakfast every morning, 7:30. They have wonderful french inspired sourdough bread, fresh jam and real butter, and an outside space that´s absolutely wonderful. In Frognerveien there are all kinds of really nice restaurants, Sushi, Indian, Italian Pizzeria, so if you like to just strall around you don´t need to go far. Pluss since they rebuilt Tjuvholmen, you can have morning and evening swims in the ocean, walking ten minutes there and back.
It´s easy to acsess most parts of the city by foot. Or else there are buses and trams two minutes away in all direction. Also commuterboats for the islands that makes it possible to go for picknicks on one of the nearby islands. A real treat.
Other Things to Note

This is our home and in your room you have your full privacy and we deeply respect that. We share the bathroom and the kitchen and you are welcome to cook and enjoy your dinner and breakfast there.
I really enjoyed my stay at Mona's place. She is a great host, friendly, thoughtful and always smiling. The room is clean and comfortable, although we didn't talk a lot, she did make sure I got everything I need. Oslo is an amazing city, I will come back for sure to spend more time there.
As always (s. previous feedbacks), Mona is busy, but remains an excellent host and her place is a very good choice if you are in Oslo.

Mona was wonderful! I arrived with my bicycle from Canada and she was helpful in helping me get settled. She welcomed me into her home with my room being cozy and comfortable. She helped with giving directions and responded to any inquiry. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!
Third time with Mona: Same as before! See my comments from 5. June 15 - very recommended place to stay in Oslo!
It was the same as during my first visit 2 weeks ago...

Me and my daughter live in the appartment and this is our HOME. We have two beautiful cats and a hectic schedule. My daughter has her own horse and we go off to the stable five times a week. We love people, good food, music, traveling, and know the value of staying with local people to get the most out of visiting a new city. We would love to make your Oslo stay a wonderful experience.
