The lower suite of the Lumbung, the “Garden Hideaway” is a cozy twin room with a private garden area and ensuite bathroom. The high teak ceilings and large windows bring in a beautiful light. The windows open to a private, enclosed garden area. Surrounded by lush, lovely tropical flora guests enjoy absolute privacy in this secret hideaway. Guests of the Lumbung can enjoy the common lounge area, infinity pool and on-site spa.
Entering the Naya retreat, guests are welcomed into the ‘Pool Joglo’, the large common lounge area. Pool Joglo is an original Javanese structure constructed from reclaimed wood, lovingly restored and converted into a covered outdoor space in the heart of Naya. Relax in one of the many different seating areas over food and drinks with friends, family or with a book. To cool off, step into the adjoining infinity pool. The pool is cleansed by an Ozone system, which uses 90% less chlorine. As a result of this more natural process, the water has a smooth, velvety texture, is kinder and healthier for guests and less harsh on the environment.
The Naya Spa is situated in a quiet corner of the garden, equipped with two massage beds for in-house massage services. Naya offers traditional Balinese and Thai massage.
We have a diverse tropical range of foliage, including aesthetic medicinal and edible plants. Our chef uses fresh vegetables and herbs cultivated in our organic garden.
A fully equipped modern kitchen is available for your use or you may ask our chef to prepare meals at your pleasure at a nominal cost.
Naya’s pleasant and friendly staff is available to satisfy your needs by providing lifts to and from the center, bringing food and drinks and other odds and ends as well as nanny services. Our caring and attentive staff will ensure that your stay is superb. We can also arrange an air-conditioned car along with driver for sightseeing.

The villa is pretty. The experience of getting there and dealing with Gusti, the manager, was a bit awkward. I booked and paid 2 nights through airbnb, upon checkout, the manager passed us an itemized bill that included the fees for one night (even though this was already paid). I showed him the receipt of payment and he deleted the item without a problem. Just a bit inconvenient if one is not looking closely to the final bill. You cannot use a local taxi to get here for the first time, as the villa is actually called Naya (not Lumbung), and there are no signs on the street (or the villa) that point to the actual place. Basically impossible to find if you have not been here before. The taxi we used from the hotel (Made) was very very very nice and helpful. It costed 60 Rps to or back from Ubud. The chef prepares delicious breakfasts (60 Rps) and the cleaning staff is very friendly. The pool is phenomenal. The dates available on the airbnb calendar are not always accurate. Before booking the room, I booked a few other rooms of the villa that appeared to be available, but upon booking these were not available. It took me 3 tries to get a room at the villa.
