A light, air-conditioned comfortable, well-equipped apartment with garden and large terrace. Enjoy sweeping views of the Sabina olive groves, Mount Soratte and the hilltop town of Fara Sabina. The property is detached; the surrounding garden has fruit trees, olive trees and a herb garden. It is ideal for those wanting to visit Rome but to enjoy the surrounding countryside at the same time. There are several lovely outdoor pools a 10-15 minute drive away. Home comforts include free wifi , Sky TV, DVD, central heating, air conditioning and a log fire, a very well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating and dining areas both inside and outside on the spacious terrace. You'll find a complimentary bottle of wine chilling in the fridge on arrival, tea and coffee supplies and my own extra virgin olive oil for using in the kitchen. Budding chefs may help themselves to fresh herbs from the garden too. The double bedroom has its own small balcony and the twin room can be made into a double if required. A travel cot is available.
The kitchen cupboards are well-stocked with plentiful pots and pans. There is a dishwasher, kettle, toaster, electric citrus juicer, food processor, Kenwood mixer and a Nespresso coffee machine. Interaction with Guests
I work in travel so am often away from home. If I am here I will be a discrete presence but always on hand if you should need anything. My home is your home. If absent, you will have any assistance you need from me before and during your stay by phone or email.
This is authentic, off-the-beaten-track Italy, barely touched by tourism. I love the contrast between city and countryside. After a day buzzing around Rome this is the perfect retreat.
A car is necessary. The train station at Fara Sabina is less than 15 minutes' drive away, from where trains run every 15-30 minutes into Rome.
Other Things to Note
If you search for this property on (website hidden) Street View it does not appear and the location that does is very inaccurate and even off-putting! I have reported the inaccuracy to (website hidden) Maps but doubt they will return to this location in a hurry. The location is rural but not isolated. There are hills behind and a beautiful view in front. Any questions about the location? ?Please get in touch.
You will find this a 'home from home' so all I ask is that you treat it with the respect you would your own home! Smoking on the terrace but not inside please. No pets.
This was an excellent stay. Sally was very helpful and the apartment first class. This is a truly beautiful setting. We will be back!
We stay three nights at Sally Reynolds apartment, it was not enough time there. It was comfortable and charming. The views are great.
We didn't get to meet Sally, maybe next time.

Tanti sinceri saluti.
Very exactly quiet and silence but in the morning birds singing around the house, In the afternoon the sun is in front of the balcony(unfortunatley for us it was a cloudy day so just a moment permitted at that times).
Sally told me to go to the largest olive tree in Europa, so I've followed the sign but couldn't find so wait for the next time to go there, because the place gave me a very impressive memoria...
The fireplace was perfect and the kitchen and WIFI was also perfect.
Most of all sally was a womas with lot of smile, she gave us a happy virus...

About the Host, Sally
Hi, I am English, grew up in North Wales and have been living in Italy for 12 years. I lived first in Bellagio, Lake Como then bought my present home, in the countryside close to Rome, a couple of years ago. I loved Bellagio and maintain that it is one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of Italy.
For work reasons I needed to be nearer to Rome. Here in the Sabina I enjoy having the best of both worlds: Rome close at hand when I want it but the peace and quiet of the countryside most of the time. I have olive trees in the garden and having my own olive oil makes me feel like a local! I love the fact that the sky is almost always blue here and the ever-changing views from my terrace. The area is gorgeous and relatively untracked in terms of tourism.
I have always worked in the travel industry and enjoy exploring Italy. This country is so varied and so beautiful that it never ceases to amaze me. There is always something new to discover and the wish list just gets longer not shorter!
I am happy to help with your travel plans and will give full assistance with public transport or driving directions.
