Street Parking & Neighborhood Safety:
There is Free Street Parking in front of the house and surrounding area. The house is in a highly secure area due to Drexel and Penn Universities.
There is a 'Check-Point' In front of the house, on the side where cars are park that is monitored by campus police. They must check in every 30 minutes on rotating times to confirm safe activity in the neighborhood. There is a Fire Department across the street, and a Police station three blocks away. I have never had a problem in this area, nor have my previous guests.
Transportation to and from the house is very simple and manageable. The house is located near University City, west of the Schuylkill River.

Absolutely brilliant house. Beautiful and cozy. I'd like to recommend it to everybody.
I had a good experience here. The room was exactly as advertised and the neighborhood is quiet. The room was comfy and located close to the train stop.
Great room for a few days in the city. Alicia was very helpful and friendly! All the best!
Very nice place, check in / out well organized. The neighborhood is awesome. Unfortunately, I only met Alicia once for a few minutes. But it is definetly a great place to stay!
I stayed here while visiting UPenn. The location was very convenient 10 minutes from Amtrak and UPenn by taxi and Uber. I spent more time in line waiting for a taxi at the Amtrak station than I did on the ride over.
I was traveling during a time of extremely cold weather on the East coast and Alicia went above and beyond by staying up to let me in so that I wouldn't have to stand out in the cold while I opened the lockbox to get the key.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. Though small it was nicely decorated and had enough space for a weekend visitor especially with the closet which allowed me to hang up my garment bag.
The house is not in a ritzy neighborhood but when I walked the 0.6 mile from a SEPTA stop, I never felt unsafe.
I would stay there again.
