  • I stayed with Farika and Mae for 2 nights, and couldn't have been happier or more comfortable! The room was exactly as it appeared in pictures - warm, cozy, quiet, and perfect for one. Farika made the check in process super easy and was friendly, welcoming and answered any questions I had. I had a good time at Trophy bar, and wished I had more time to hang out there. I enjoyed the neighborhood very much. The apartment is close to everything... Coffee shops, markets, bars, and the train. Only 3 stops to Manhattan :). I had a perfect stay and would absolutely stay again. Thank you so much Farika!!

  • The Joyce is terrific. It's convenient to Manhattan and Williamsburg. The hosts couldn't be more flexible or hospitable, and have created a very welcoming and comfortable environment. I'd absolutely stay again.

  • Farika and Mae were the sweetest hosts and very accommodating! Great experience at The Joyce and location is central to everything you may need. You also must stop by Farika's bar! Great hangout!

  • My stay at the Joyce was short but worry-free. Check-in was easy, the bed comfortable and the apartment had everything I could have needed. Transport is a short walk away, along with plenty of food and drink. Boo is a cutie, too!

  • This was my first airbnb experience. Farika and May were wonderful hosts. Clean, relaxed environment, and great neighborhood. Also the check in, check out times were flexible, which really helped my crazy schedule. Only 2 stops from Union Square made it even better. An added treat was ending the week at Trophy Bar with the hosts and it's just a few minutes away. Great drinks, great food, great people. All around great experience.

  • It was the first week of mine and 1st time in NYC as well, everything was definitely strange and new. I had 3 huge giant boxes with me, luckily their apt is right on the 2nd floor, when I arrived Farika was just at the front door to help me carry those boxes. Farika and May are really helpful and nice to me, let me handle the house most of the time because they're really busy. I took the single-bed room, full furnished and everything's ready, even the hair dryer. Oh and there is also Boo (hope I spell his name right), Farika's dog. He showed up in the last day I was there, he's definitely a babe, too! It took me 10' to walk to the L train on the same street to the city, and it's pretty close to the Bedford ave station, hot spot of all kind hipster. I would suggest The Joyce for everyone that would like to come to NYC and experience the vibe of Brooklyn, you won't be sorry!
