Only few minute drive from Reykjavík but still you get the feeling of staying in the country. The house is beautiful, the view breath taking, the nature starts in the back yard and in winter you may enjoy northern lights from the backyard. Mosfellsbær provides numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and untouched nature. So close to Reykjavik but still away from the hurly-burly of city living. Licence number is HG-550.

The space
The house is 270 square meters with large living room, dining and kitchen area. Master bedroom with master bathroom and a walk in closet. Two single bedrooms next to a smaller bathroom with shower. Guestroom that can also be used as home office. Hot tub in the backyard that can be used the whole year round. In the summer you may also enjoy the large porches and a lovely garden full of trees and flowers. HG- 550.

You have the whole house for your self. I leave my private things at home, but make space for your cloths and things in the closets and bathroom

Other things to note
We have a cat that lives in the house. Her name is Glow and she loves to stay with our guests. If her staying is a problem I can move her to my sisters house. But she may visit.

The house is standing beside a 18 hole golf course locadet by the coast and it takes only 5 minutes to walk down to the beach. About 10 minutes walk away there is a sport center with geothermal swimming pools, children’s outdoors pools, water slides, hot tubs, sauna, wellness studio and indoor gym.

I am the mother of Astridur and Hallgrimur (born 2001 and 2003). We all love the outdoors, both in summer and winter. In the summer we hike and bike around the country. In the winter we ski! We bought this beautiful house to be our second home, especially in the winter. We love to spend time in the lovely town of Akureyri and enjoy the great skiing area of Hlíðarfjall.
