Cozy room with private entrance available at The Monte Cristo, which is a well-maintained, non-smoking home. Jacopo's Room has a full-sized bed, dresser, nightstand and television. A microfridge unit is provided for storing remnants of your favorite New Orleans cuisine as well as beverages. Nestled alongside the bed, a plush recliner offers a great spot for kicking up your feet to watch TV, read a novel, or simply unwind. A private, en suite bathroom with charming, imperfect character and a small area for hanging your wardrobe round out this quaint cove that gives guests just what they need after a day of lively adventures: peace and simplicity. I forgot to add it now has a A/C.
The property is next to The Casa Blanca & close to Claiborne and Broad Streets in a revitalized community that hosts a second-line jazz parade nearly every Sunday afternoon. Guests can catch a few glimpses of this Nola tradition from the property’s elevated outdoor patio prior to joining in on the celebration. (See schedule below.)
After exploring Jackson Square, visiting the Arts District, listening to a live band on Frenchman or attending a busting, relax in a home filled with Nawlins hospitality. A two-night minimum stay is preferred and a security deposit is required; all fees will be managed by Airbnb.
We look forward to welcoming you to Jacopo's Room at The Monte Cristo during your next trip to Nola. Please note:

The host definitley made us feel welcome with tourist flyers and refreshments. The description was on point and the neighborhood was very quiet and friendly.
Nice place to stay! very quiet neighbourhood with 2 bus lines, perfect to take some rest from Mardi Gras' crazyness
Jay is a really nice host, thanks for helping me the first day!
We had a wonderful stay! We came to New Orleans to elope and Jay was kind enough to leave us a bottle of champagne, Beer and water in the mini fridge! The room was fantastic, close to every part of town and quite at night after the busy Quarter!!
Jay was extremely accommodating and welcoming. Though our arrival time changed, he was able to ensure we were able to get access to the property. The room was stocked with beverages and water, which was a great perk. It was the perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, but still close to anything you could want to do in New Orleans. I would definitely stay here again.
Jay was a great host. He introduced me to local cab drivers nearby, and he even helped get a second copy of the house key when I unfortunately lost my copy. Thanks, Jay!
Jay was a gracious host and the location was great and central. It was easy to get cheap cabs from this place to pretty much anywhere. The room itself was adequate for two guests, but the bed might be better for one.
Jay was great!! He even let us go out with him on New Years! He was super helpful, gave us bikes to use, and the neighborhood was very safe. Thanks Jay, can "The Monte Cristo" be our New Orleans home? :)
