About this listing
We offer a cozy bedroom in the city of Nice, Côte d'Azur, in an authentic French apartment, in the very center of the town.
The room has a large sofa-bed, that can accommodate two persons really comfortably.
There's a washing machine and internet if you need.
The apartment is very sunny, next to the beach (10min walk), and 2min from the main street, its shops, public rental bikes and tramway. Ah, and as an extra feature, you can get to the main train station with a 3min walk...
The neighborhood is really dynamic, and at night, all the restaurants and bars are nearby.
For shopping, the main commercial street is around the corner, but we're really close to the coolest smaller shops as well: we won't forget to show you the way!
The hosts speak several languages, among German, French, Portuguese or Spanish.
And last, but not least, an important information: the nice vue has a price: we're at the 4th floor, no elevator...
- No smoking...
- Please ventilate your room everyday.
- Don't let food on your room: there's plenty of space in the kitchen!
- The white leather armchair in the leaving room was made by a really nice designer, and we love it very much: please treat it with love! :)
- The towels I lend you are supposed to stay indoors. If you need one for the beach, please bring your own.
The house was nice and cosy but cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The apartment was quite difficult to find as well.
Julian and Maria Teresa were both really lovely but we had the expectation that the hosts would abide by their own house rules. If it’s important to you, Dear Traveller, that the place you rest is clean, then skip this listing. Some rubbish greeted us in the doorway... the host’s dishes in the sink from the night before... a mouldy shower. It was an accumulation of little things that made us cut our stay short and pay for an alternative. We just didn’t feel comfortable here - and for such a short stay in such a lovely place it really was a shame to spend the time and energy finding an alternative. This was one occasion on a very short stay, so perhaps your experience will be different.
Seriously guys?! I think you should maybe look for a whole appartment on AirBnb, because you didn't seem to have understood the spirit of it. If you stay at someone's home, you can't expect to stay free from real life, with real people, who eat real local food and have real recycling routines for the glass. You'd have noticed then that the very night all the whine bottles were out, and she 2 plates washed. It's called having it as it goes... I wish you a nice end of vacations, and send you a bit of our "zenitude" that we like so much.
The house is very close to gare sncf.
and a bit far from the beach. but I like to walk. so i didn't care.
The house has no elevator. But she came down to me. And She gave me a help.
The house is the same as the picture.
it was very clean and fashionable. above all, The room That i stayed was spacious and quiet. for 3days, i stayed comfortably.
If someone go to Nice, I recommend her lovely house :)
This apartment is exactly what you see in the picture. It is very clean. This is located in the inner side of Nice but you can easily walk to the beach or where the nightlife is. It is in a safe neighborhood.
Maria is a great host, the room was nice and the wifi is fast. We had lots talks at night time and I've got great advises. I had a really great time in Nice.
I did not stay due to an error on my part with regards to inability to access internet or phone and showing up late to the apartment. Though the pictures of the inside are amazing, I wish I had known more about the area, as my wife did not even feel safe getting out of the car. This is just our perspective, not that we were harassed or anything, but the men in the alley were just staring at us up and down. I just found out the hard way that are very nice parts of Nice and not so nice parts.
