Amazing one bedroom apartment in the heart of Greenwich Village located on historic MacDougal Street.
Right next to famous restaurants and bars such as Minetta Tavern, Artichoke, and Mamoun's as well as next to notable hot spots The Comedy Cellar and Cafe Wha.
Steps from Washington Square Park, NYU, SoHo, and the West Village, as well as around the corner from the W4th St. subway stop (A,C,E,B,D,F trains).
Large bedroom with queen size bed, 10 ft. high ceilings, open kitchen, and spacious bathroom with standing shower.
Extremely quiet with apartment being in the back of the building as well as being on the top floor.
Full of exposed brick, working fireplace, hardwood floors, four enormous windows, and tons of natural light!
Experiencing NYC in the Village is the best way possible.
Having dozens of amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping options at your finger tips is the only way to take advantage of what this great city has to offer!
Please take care of ours things.
Just ask for the wifi password and I will send it to you, along with how to work the TV if you are unable to figure it out.
Please "sit" on the leather couch. It is not to be jumped on. Also when you leave for the day, please remember to close the curtain across from the couch so that it does not get direct sunlight on it all day.
If you wish to use the fireplace, just let me know, and I will tell you where the starter logs are and the wood should be in the bucket next to the fireplace.
Make sure to close the refrigerator if you open, sometimes it doesn't stay shut on the first close.
Be careful with any dishes you use, and all I ask is that you wash them once you are done with them.
Essentially treat the place as if it was your own.
The neighbors are super nice, but dont be too loud.
This is an amazing location, in the heart of Greenwich!
We had an amazing time in your very very nice apartment. And the view from the bedroom and living room, fantastic! Everything was perfect, and Greenwich Village never fails to entertain. Your recommendations on restaurants were great. We only needed your help once, and you were so so helpful. So thank you Sean for being on Airbnb.
Best regards Mette
Great, clean apartment with excellent facilities in a fantastic location - views from the apartment are incredible! Everything we needed was provided, access to the apt was easy & Sean was a great host - good communication throughout. Thanks for helping to make our trip a great one.
Both Sean and his place were great. Sean was thorough, timely and friendly with all of his communication. He really made the whole process effortless. The place was clean, comfortable, quite and perfect for our visit. It felt like we were staying at a friends place for the weekend. We will definitely contact Sean the next time we visit the city.
We stayed in Sean and Megan's apartment for 8 days during the Christmas holidays and first thing i can say is: PERFECT LOCATION!
So many bars and restaurants around, the subway is 2' walk away and you're close to everything!
It was really to communicate with Sean and he always replied really quickly to our email. I'll definitly rent their place again if i come back to New York!
Amazing location in the Village. Stairs would be tough for those with any physical issues, but good exercise for anyone else. And the view is fabulous.
My husband and I had the opportunity to spend three nights in Sean and Megan's apartment and we were very pleased! It was our first trip to New York and I can honestly say (after exploring the city, eating at restaurants, taking in the nightlife, viewing touristy areas) that this is one of the BEST locations in NY. The apartment is in a quiet building (we didn't hear noise from any other apartments so it would be fine for those with babies or small children) but as soon as you walk out the door you will find a busy but clean neighborhood. It is near NYU and Washington square park and it's a fun and lively feel. Check out the amazing restaurants within walking distance such as The Olive Tree (with an amazing Comedy Club downstairs), Blue Ribbon Sushi, Eataly (a little farther), and a ton of other restaurants and bars. It's also within a mile of the major shopping (5th ave).
The apartment was small but perfect for two people and was left clean with welcoming features such Fall chalkboard art and pumpkins. There is no elevator in this building so if you are in a wheelchair this apartment is out. The hike up 7 flights of stairs was a little tiring but perfect as we had the opportunity to work off all of the amazing food and drinks we enjoyed in NY. All of the touristy areas are a short cab or subway ride away. Sean and his girlfriend also gave great suggestions for restaurants etc and were very communicative. We HIGHLY recommend this apartment and are already sending the link to family and friends! Thanks Sean and Megan!:)
