We stayed in Sean and Megan's apartment for 8 days during the Christmas holidays and first thing i can say is: PERFECT LOCATION!
So many bars and restaurants around, the subway is 2' walk away and you're close to everything!
It was really to communicate with Sean and he always replied really quickly to our email. I'll definitly rent their place again if i come back to New York!
Amazing location in the Village. Stairs would be tough for those with any physical issues, but good exercise for anyone else. And the view is fabulous.
My husband and I had the opportunity to spend three nights in Sean and Megan's apartment and we were very pleased! It was our first trip to New York and I can honestly say (after exploring the city, eating at restaurants, taking in the nightlife, viewing touristy areas) that this is one of the BEST locations in NY. The apartment is in a quiet building (we didn't hear noise from any other apartments so it would be fine for those with babies or small children) but as soon as you walk out the door you will find a busy but clean neighborhood. It is near NYU and Washington square park and it's a fun and lively feel. Check out the amazing restaurants within walking distance such as The Olive Tree (with an amazing Comedy Club downstairs), Blue Ribbon Sushi, Eataly (a little farther), and a ton of other restaurants and bars. It's also within a mile of the major shopping (5th ave).
The apartment was small but perfect for two people and was left clean with welcoming features such Fall chalkboard art and pumpkins. There is no elevator in this building so if you are in a wheelchair this apartment is out. The hike up 7 flights of stairs was a little tiring but perfect as we had the opportunity to work off all of the amazing food and drinks we enjoyed in NY. All of the touristy areas are a short cab or subway ride away. Sean and his girlfriend also gave great suggestions for restaurants etc and were very communicative. We HIGHLY recommend this apartment and are already sending the link to family and friends! Thanks Sean and Megan!:)
The apartment was as represented. Very clean and in a great location. Lots of restaurants, shops and bars. Sean was easy to communicate with and always gave a quick response. View is terrific.
Very well-furnished apartment in a convenient location. We enjoyed our stay enormously, and would recommend this apartment to others.
The apartment is clean and very cosy. The view from the bedroom and living room is just spectacular. The apartment has a great location. Nice restaurants and bars are all around. The communication with Sean and his girlfriend was easy and fast. The hosts ensured that we were doing fine, replied fast to all my questions and sent us tips where to go to eat. A place I would definitive go back to or recommend to stay in Manhattan.
