This lovely apartment is located next to Campo San Bortolo, a famous square located right between Saint Mark’s square and Rialto bridge. Piazza San Marco is probably the best known spot in town, and it is so important amongst locals that it is said that everyone who lives in Venice passes beyond San Marco at least once a day. The wonderful square in front of the cathedral, full of children who feed the birds, souvenir sellers and cafés with live music (some of which are probably the most expensive coffee bars in Italy!), is definitely a must for those who visit marco Polo's town. As you walk around it, don't forget to have a look at the Palazzo Ducale (Duke's Palace) and its Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs), which joins the courtroom with the ancient jail. For those who are not scared of heights, we recommend climbing the tower, which overlooks the entire town

Interaction with guests
Wishing you an unforgettable stay in Venice, we would like to tell you that spending a holiday in an apartment is not only a special AND UNIQUE experience in complete freedom and independence according to your TIME AND WISHES, but it is also a way to share with us, resident, the same inconveniences that are normal in our everyday life here in Venice.
All the houses are in a historical context that does not have any periphery, thus there are very few recent buildings in the city.
This means that some small annoyances you may find unusual are normal features of the city and we are sharing the same with you, for example the lack of a lift, or little light in apartments located on lower floors, some light noise that is typical from Venetian "calli" or "canali", the presence of mosquitos being Venice a city built on the water. We understand that for someone not used to this unique city all the features above listed may seem a problem, but these are instead the peculiarity and the charm of living or spending a holiday in a place where the urban progress did not affect the natural structure of this amazing city, where everything is magic.
