Guest Access

This is a private, self-contained apartment with a private balcony. The front door is shared with one other apartment and has both an alarm and video intercom system.

Interaction with Guests

I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in our car park behind the main building.

The Neighborhood

The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.

Getting around

The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is only 75 m from the apartment. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind our main building at a cost of €15 per night.

Other Things to Note

Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.

Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!

When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.

Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.

  • This loft was beyond perfect! The location couldn't have been better for our first trip to Dublin and we were more than comfortable. Everything was as advertised, and even more clean and beautiful than we expected. Would enthusiastically recommend to anyone!

  • Very clean and nice apartment and great host.

Central location a stone's throw from Temple Bar. Highly recommended.

  • We had a great time here! The apartment is very clean very nice- I can easily imagine staying there for more than just a quick weekend.

Everything seemed new and high quality (the beds, the kitchen appliances, the bathrooms- the showers were great). The apartment had a great feel to it as well, with a huge porch and great natural lighting. The apartment is also in a great location, that's an easy walk to just about everything (starting points for walking/biking tours, airport shuttles, and a lot of the touristy sights like the Temple Bar area, Guinness, Jameson, etc). The neighborhood isn't too loud, and there are some nice bars there as well, as well as several grocery stores and late night food places.

In addition to all of this, Nancy was fantastic. She was very accommodating and responded quickly to all of my questions (and I had plenty). They've got a great system, especially for those of us travelling on odd time frames (late night arrival/later departures). It was a pleasure working with her, and she really made our stay in Dublin stress-free and highly enjoyable.

  • Nancy's loft is perfectly located right on the Liffey in central Dublin. Moreover, it had everything we needed, and nothing less! The tall space in the living room was fun to hang out in when we were at home, and while the rain prevented us from enjoying the outside deck, we would have if we could. Really: it's a sharp space, well located, hosted by a congenial local. Thanks, Nancy!

  • A work colleague and I stayed for seven nights in this property while in Dublin for business.

The location is perfect if you wish to be within a few minutes walk of Dublin's main attractions and shopping areas. For example, Temple Bar is a 3 minute walk away.

But despite its central location, the apartment is wonderfully quite.

On top of that, the apartment - and everything in it - is new.

The layout, design and build are of high quality. And it features an excellent kitchen and attractive bathrooms.

Finally, the quality of service provided by Nancy is superb.

On future trips, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

  • What a great experience in Dublin. Nancy heard we were cooking a Thanksgiving dinner and immediately upgraded us to a better apartment with a great kitchen to help. The apartment was beautifully furnished and couldn't be in a better (email hidden)s in the heart of Dublin and walkable to everything you would want to see. The public bus from the airport even drops you off a couple blocks from the apartment. Nancy was wonderful and helped us find the best store to buy all of the ingriedients for a great Thanksgiving meal. She was so great, we ended up inviting her to dinner and had an awesome time. Can't recommend her or this place enough. Stay here.

  • The roomy two bedroom was enough for 5 to stay just fine. Very good location in the centre and Nancy was very helpful with booking and checking-in. Would stay again!

My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me. We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening. Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
