Kaz's place was great for our stay over the holidays. It was so nice to be close to fun neighborhoods like New Town, but also easy to catch the bus into the city to see the sights. While we never got a chance to meet in person, I feel like I know Kaz from our e-mails leading up t…

The studio is absolutely lovely, very homey & clean. It was perfect for a little getaway & was in perfect location as it was close to everything like the station & shops. The only thing thing I could recommend is getting a fly screen on the main window as it was very hot so we ne…

Thanks for your feedback Emily, although the reason I don't have fly screen on the main window is because it would ruin the wonderful view! That's why I leave a mosquito zapper in the studio for guests. I only ever need it on particularly hot nights, but it works perfectly. However you've convinced me that I'll need to install air conditioning before next summer, as the ceiling fan alone is inadequate during the hot spell!

Clean and simple nice studio apartment. Convenient to park and easy to travel to my work. Host Kaz was attentative to our needs. We like the electronic lock, it saves a lot of hassle to do key exchange. Would be great if have microwave to heat up food.

I enjoyed the stay in the apartment. Kaz is well organized and very fast to reply to communications. Although old the apartment is clean and organized. The area is typically quiet although the neighbor and airplanes can be noisy at times. I did miss a microwave and internet altho…

Hi Jeffrey, Thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The building has only 12 units and all of the residents are considerate and quiet. The noisy next-door neighbours were an anomaly and have now moved out.

We enjoyed our stay at Kaz's apartment. It was exactly as described, and very easy to get to the city and back on the nearby buses. Great location, great unit, great host. Thanks Kaz!

I'm a freelance film and TV editor who works mainly in Australia. If I'm not working I like to tramp through the bush or hang out on a deserted beach - ideally with a surfboard. But if I'm head down in the land of concrete and clay - then I'll make do with a cup of chai.
