Chateau Bleu Cottage was just as expected from the listing. Cozy and inviting, located in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood in Ventura. Main Street is just a few minutes away and everything you need is within a short drive. Patricia was very accommodating offering suggestions and ensuring I was comfortable during my stay. Her cottage and garden a real delight. I chose Chateau Blue Cottage to stay during a recent work trip to Camarillo, and I'm very glad that I did. I was able to rest and relax in the evening...it was just what I was looking for. Thanks Patricia!
Patricia was very nice and easygoing, even though I was only able to show up really late at night. She clearly stayed up to meet me and was still very nice and friendly, showing us around the room. She also left us with restaurant recommendations, I didn't get to see her after but she left snacks and water for us each day.
The house is very cute and private, very quiet and peaceful. Love the outdoor garden space. Her pillow are comfortable, but it definitely gets bright early, so bring an eyemask or be prepared to wake up! (I had to get up at 7 every morning so the sun definitely helped:))
Everything was very clean and neat, good experience. also very close to grocery stores and downtown Ventura (and harbor).
Very pleasant room in a lovely house. We never saw Patricia, but the arrangements for our arrival and departure worked perfectly. We had bagels and yoghurt on the sunny back steps for breakfast. The location was perfect for us, and the room was quite quiet.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Patricia greeted us warmly when we arrived and was very anxious to meet our needs. She was very generous with daily bottled water and tasty snacks. Accommodations were exactly as described: quiet, beautiful, and private. Thank you, Patricia, for making our stay very pleasant.
The cottage was cute and cozy. The pictures accurately show the space. The roses in the room were a lovely touch. The garden is pretty and fragrant. We appreciated the water and snacks left for us!
Patricia's Chateau is exactly how it's described and pictured. Patricia was more than welcoming and an amazing host. She provided us with snacks throughout our stay (water bottles, peanuts, and protien bars). The room was very clean and loved the decor. The roses were a great touch! My boyfriend and I had a great time and we will definitely stay again. Thank you Patricia!
We had a lovely stay at Chateau Bleu Cottage! Patricia met us at the door and showed us around the unit and we ended up having a nice little chat with her as well.
My husband and I were in town for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in, so we didn't get to spend too much time in the room, but I loved the roses and lavender in the room and her garden was gorgeous. It was especially alive after the little rain storm we had the first night.
After the wedding Saturday night, we got home very late and didn't have time to stop for water or food after a loooong day of wedding prep. I was very dehydrated, but was too tired to do anything about it. When we got back to the room I was beyond happy to see Patricia had left us water and snacks outside the door. I cannot even express how amazing that was.
We slept wonderfully each night and it was a fun neighborhood to see during Halloween. There seem to be lots of nice families in the area. We also had no problem finding parking every night and it's a quick drive to downtown Ventura.
The wifi in the cottage works great and we really appreciated having it so we could listen to music on my iPad while getting ready for the wedding.
We would love to stay with Patricia and at the Chateau Bleu Cottage again anytime. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

I love everything garden and antique. I moved to Ventura from the Santa Ynez Valley to be closer to the beach and enjoy the climate here. Everyone envies the perfect weather in Ventura and I agree. My lovely cottage home has been so nurturing for me and has been a source of pleasure. You will love the ambience of this 1929 Cottage.
