The Space

We have a nice one bedroom apartment in downtown Burlington. Our place is a perfect spot if you need somewhere to stay for the holidays. When we are home we rent out our place for travelers on a budget who are looking to stay in a shared space in town, as we have two futons that fold out in the living room. Check our other listing on Airbnb "Groovy Place in a Pretty Little City," if you want to see some reviews.
However, you will have the whole place to yourself! The space is open and bright, with a bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath, lovely kitchen, and a central living room. Our heat and hot water are included in our rent, so please don't feel shy about setting the thermostat as it suits you. The apartment is uniquely decorated and you will have fresh sheets, towels, internet access, and free street parking. Our kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, spices, and cooking utensils which you are welcome to.
The place is a block away from Church Street and in walking distance to anything you could need or want in town. Our apartment is (email hidden)ly twenty something's area, although it is very quiet during school breaks

Burlington is a neat place, the waterfront is beautiful and there are great hiking spots and other beautiful nature, and there are many unique and eclectic places on Church street and around town. If you are traveling around the states and you want an awesome off the beaten path place, Burlington is a good pick. It is especially beautiful in the fall and early winter. Everything is accessible by foot, bike, or bus if you want to go someplace else in Vermont. Our apartment is in a central and active part of town. We are a short walking distance from most everything, but there is a bus stop a block away and the Cherry Street bus station is about 5 minutes walking. The Greyhound and Megabus stops are about 15 minutes walking from the apartment

More photos are coming. We don't have any of the bedroom or half of the kitchen right now.

  • Amanda's location is ideal, the apartment was as described and she was accessible to answer questions. Unfortunately, the party upstairs began at 10:30 and lasted until 3:45 in the morning. As a parent of four college students I am familiar with a "good time" but the ceiling literally shook and we considered leaving for a nearby hotel. As Amanda noted it is a college neighborhood so be prepared to join the party.

  • Great location, super close to Church Street. Amanda's friend gave us excellent restaurant recommendations to Stacks and Hen of the Wood. Decent price for three people.

  • The apartment was better than the listing makes it seem! There is a great amount of space for guests. Plus it's right around the corner from a few great bars and restaurants.

I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the Burlington area.

  • I had a great experience staying at Amanda's place! It was cozy and cute, and also in a really great location - close to UVM and walking distance to Church street and all the great restaurants and shops. I actually never got to meet Amanda but I thought it was great that she kindly and generously left her apartment to us for the weekend. Thank you Amanda! I had a great time and really enjoyed staying at your place.

About
It is just me in the apartment; I'm 25. I like traveling and meeting new and interesting people! I embrace any new adventure. While I would hope to be able to dedicate lots of time to my guests, I am often very busy, especially during the weekdays or during the academic year.
