Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • First and most importantly, I was satisfied with the overall experience of staying in Martine's apartment. The location was exceptional, and it was extremely clean. These were the two most important factors to me. However, that said, the main bedroom had a ceiling and walls that were cracked. Martine did advise me of that a couple of days before the trip about a leak that occurred sometime ago, but it should have been repaired beforehand. The bed was more of a full size than a queen, and the mattress severely sagged in the middle. The furnishings are okay and functional, but some are in need of minor repairs. The information and utensils provided were good. Overall, I was satisfied and would certainly stay again at this apartment provided that the deficiencies noted above, i.e. mattress and ceiling/wall repair, were adequately addressed.

  • Martine's flat was an excellent base for our two weeks in Paris. Well located, we were an easy walking distance to many attractions and had several Metro stations to chose from. the local shops had everything we needed. Martine gave us helpful tips about the local area. The flat itself was comfortable for the three of us and had all the comforts of home. we will miss our morning walks to the bakery!

  • Excellent location, all within walking distances to the major attractions. If you interested in antiques or art, there are over 100 gallery's and shops all within a few blocks. Also there is no shortage of coffee shops, almost on every street corner.

  • Our stay in Martine's cozy apartment was perfect-- I only wish we had a few more days. Sonia was lovely and it almost felt like we were visiting our Parisian relatives! All the information about the apartment is available as well as directions and recommendations about things to do, places to eat. If we are lucky enough to return to Paris one day we would certainly stay there again! Many thanks!

  • Martine's apartment is elegant and comfortable. It is in a perfect location, a few minutes walk to Metro stations. Martine is a welcoming and warm host, she wrote me a detailed email to introduce me the neighborhood, like where to buy food and drink. Sonia, the housekeeper of Martine's apartment, is helpful and pleasant, she gave us a warm greeting when we arrived.

  • Martine's flat is in a quiet street in the heart of St Germain, a wonderful location: five minutes' walk from the Musee D'Orsay and ten minutes' from the Louvre. The flat is very comfortable, and has a particularly lovely drawing room. I recommend it without hestitation. Sonja, who is the person who liaises with Martine's visitors when they are there, is very friendly and helpful. Altogether, a five star experience!

  • From the moment we were dropped off by the cab, got through the beautiful outside door, meeting Sonia (the caretaker of the flat) who brought us up to the flat, to entering the front door...we knew were in for a fantastic vacation! I can't say enough about Martine's flat except that I will attempt to stay there whenever I return. It is a large flat in an AMAZING neighborhood. Sonia showed us the ropes in the flat and Martine has EVERYTHING written out as well! The flat is within walking distance to so many attractions and very close to metro stops. The flat was larger than I had expected as rumor has it that flats in Paris are small. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and has everything you could want LITERALLY around the corner. A cheese shop, wine shop, food shop, amazing bakery and some great restaurants. EVEN a pharmacy and a convenience store! Honestly we had a hard time wanting to leave our neighborhood. We had baguettes, butter and wonderful fresh coffee every morning in the living room with the beautiful windows open to soak in the Parisian morning. I could go on and on and on...but honestly, Martine is attentive, considerate, responsive and really wants you to enjoy your stay....I CANNOT wait to book my next stay at her NO MORE!

  • The apartment was perfect. It made our stay in Paris memorable. For four days, we felt that we actually lived in the city. Conveniently located to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and several blocks from the Seine. Any yet, so quiet. The beds were comfortable and the apartment nicely heated and well lit. The art work on the walls made the space even more inviting. It felt like home. I will never again stay in a hotel in Paris. We are looking forward to our next visit and stay in this apartment .

And you will love her assistant who showed us the apartment. Very patient and very thorough. She anticipated all our our questions. Everything was said with a smile.
