About This Listing
A colorful antique-modern 1BR in the heart of Bangkok's safest and most luxurious district. Dubbed as the city's "chic street," Thong Lo has an endless selection of rooftop bars, fashionable lounges, and restaurants in modernist glass buildings.
This is a one bedroom apartment (king size bed) along with a balcony with a view of Bangkok's city skyline. There are two televisions (one cable) along with wireless internet. You are welcomed to use the building's gym and swimming pool. I am willing to provide one who needs a mobile phone with a local carrier/service. Maid (cleaning service) is also available per request. Daily laundry and/or breakfast is also available, just ask!
There is a small gym, swimming pool, and party space on the 10th floor of the condominium (as pictured).
Interaction with Guests
I am a very outgoing and friendly person who loves to meet and get to know new people. I am willing to give advice and help with suggesting any particular places you want to visit around, not only in Bangkok, but also other places in Thailand.
I am more than happy to show guests around Bangkok as well. Please feel free to ask me for recommendations on hangout spots and trendy eateries around the city. While my career requires me to travel multiple times during the year, if I am around, I love hanging out with my guests (I can show you around bars and I have even brought some guests to experience the protests in Bangkok!), so let me know if you want my help or company. If I am not around, someone else (most likely the receptionist at the apartment) will kindly show you the accommodation—but please feel free to contact me anytime for help and questions if that is what you prefer!
I am also the owner of small spa nearby (Leela Thai Herbal Message). It is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. If you are interested for a Thai massage at the apartment, please let me know and I can contact the Thai masseuse for you.
I look forward to meeting and welcoming everyone to the magical city of Bangkok!
Located in one of the trendiest and most desirable areas of Bangkok (Thonglor/Sukhumvit 55), you will find various upscale international restaurants, fashion retailers, shopping venues, supermarkets, and the most popular bars and night clubs in Bangkok nearby. This modern apartment is centered in the heart of Bangkok's commercial center.
The nearest sky train station (BTS), which connects you to the entire city of Bangkok, is only 1 kilometer away from the apartment.
Please keep the apartment in good condition. Be respectful and mindful of your neighbors. A maid service is always available (please let me know if you are interested). But most importantly, just make yourself at home and have a happy stay! Always feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns and I will try my best to help you with whatever you need.
I stayed here for almost two months and felt right at home. The apartment is in a great area in Bangkok and within walking distance (15-20 mins.) of two well-known co-working spaces (The Hive and Hubba), where I spent most of my time during the day.
The apartment is wonderfully decorated, a welcome change from generic-looking hotel rooms or serviced apartments. Additionally, the building has everything you could ask for - a nice outdoor pool, a gym, and security. Grocery stores are within a few minutes walking distance, as are lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants. Walking to the BTS station takes about 20mins (something you don't really want to do too often in the Bangkok heat), but there are motorcycle taxis (something you have to get used to...) for quick trips from and to the BTS station right at the street close to the building.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to meet Add, but I hope I will be able to stay at her place in one of my future trips to Bangkok. Pretty much the only downside of staying here is that you don't want to leave again!
This was such a beautiful apartment and in a fantastic neighborhood! Add has decorated the apartment in such a unique, wonderful and homey way. Plus, there's a great view of the city from the balcony. We tried a whole bunch of wonderful restaurants and bars that were within waking distance. We had such a great time staying here and would highly recommend it!
We didn't have a chance to meet Add, but we enjoyed staying at her apartment. It is a very roomy apartment with views and balconies on two sides and looks exactly as depicted in the photos. The bed was comfortable. Her building is set probably at least 300 feet back from Sukhumvit 55 which makes it more buffered from road noise. She is also on the 18th floor which makes it quieter. Didn't hear any noise from people above or around us. From her apartment it is about a 37 baht cab ride to the Thonglo BTS station -- the best way to get downtown. Unfortunately, we did not have time to explore the adjacent neighborhood much, but it is relatively quiet and suburban compared to downtown Bangkok. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for everything, Add!
The apartment is just as advertised, well located and has a pool, gym and toddler indoor playground. It was clean, nicely kept and Add was a great host, even with us arriving at 11 pm from NYC. I would definitely come again and stay in that location. Kids loved the pool, of course...
This is a great apartment in a good area of Bangkok. It is a large 1 bedroom , so you have a great feeling of space. The evening views over the skyline of Bangkok are spectacular as the apartment is on the 18th foor. Add is a charming host . I would recommend thsi apartment.
The whole process was very smooth, from booking to reaching the apartment. Solo female travelers will feel safe as the apt security is tight. A true haven indeed with tasteful furnishing & space. Went to the massage place nearby which is owned by the owner & it is top notch. The apt is also within walking distance of cool cocktail bars & cafes such as Roast & Ironfairies so that's a plus point.

About the Host, Add
I was born and raised in Thailand; got my degree at Thammasat University and then went to graduate school in Washington DC. I now live and work here in Bangkok at a large life insurance/business company. I love to travel and have been to many countries all around the world (over 20 nations). My work requires me to constantly travel, so I seldom spend time at home. I enjoy fine food, love to have fun, and appreciate good music. I am also a big fan of Thai massage, and I run a small spa close to where I live. I have one son who recently graduated from a school in Westchester, New York and is now enrolled as a freshman at New York University. I can't wait to get to know and meet new people from all over the globe. I love to take my guests out for a drink and introduce them to the rich Thai culture and the great country of Thailand!
