The Space

Fully furnished apartment right in between the popular Jordaan area (city centre) and Oud-West (Kinkerstraat).

Only a few minutes’ walk to Leidseplein, Museumplein or Ten Kate Markt with lots of shops in the street itself. Easily accessible by public transport from Central Station or Schiphol airport. In the center of Amsterdam, you won't find any better located accommodation!

Private 1st floor apartment above a jewelry shop. Clean and nice bathroom, same goes for the kitchen. At the rear of the house there's a roof terrace (20 m2) accessible through the back window. All items to make your stay as comfortable as possible; washing machine, fridge, stove/oven, microwave, cable TV, wireless internet (WiFi) access, DVD, HiFi, fan, central heating, 6 double windows, one large double bed, big couch (3rd person sleeper) and a big dinner table. Complementary double camping airbed for guest # 4/3.

We are (street-) art lovers; inside the apartment you will find explicit pieces of Amsterdam’s finest street artists. We also love magazine's and music, so you can stay home all week if you feel lazy.

If desired we have got 2 lovely Amsterdam bikes and Museum passes available for our renters as well (free of charge!!!).

The Neighborhood

Best neighborhood of Amsterdam. Next to the City centre, so no overwhelming tourists and big crowd 24/7. But everything which make a city neighborhood a comforted side to live in; Shops, markets, parks, museums, bar's, and a whole lat more. Good transportation connection to the airport and train station.

  • My husband and I stayed in Mathi and Stefanie's apartment for 5 days and it was great. My sister were staying there for 10 days before it and she has also had a lovely time there. The apartment is in a central area, it is big enough for 3, very clean and comfortable. Mathi had a lot of maps and guides from Amsterdam available to us and he is a very nice guy!
If I go back to Amsterdam I would definitely stay in his house again!
Thank you much for everything guys!

  • Stefanie and Mathi are fantastic!! We decided on Amsterdam the last minute and they were able to accommodate us! Their flat is unbelievably comfortable and they left us great instructions, their museum cards, and a refrigerator with a bunch of beer!! The flat is more than conveniently located and we found the surrounding area to have a great coffee shop (Lot 61) fantastic Italian (Spaghetteria) and the ubiquitous Albert Hein. Yay! We will stay here again!!!

  • Stayed at this homely apartment for a week. Met the hosts and they we're simply lovely, even offered (email hidden), and invited us to use all and anything we might have needed. My friends and I we're so comfortable it felt like we never left home. since they actually live there, everything was clean and in order. They provided us with linens and towels and anything else we might have needed during our stay. In fact my friends and I think our Amsterdam experience was so good thanks to the perfect location of the apartment. So central and comfortable.

  • Very nice apartment located directly across the street from tram. Was very comfortable to stay in for the few nights we were in Amsterdam. We never met the hosts but their friend met us to exchange the key. He was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking (email hidden) to stay in the city.

  • Super cosy apartment at a super location, felt like home right away! Lived there 4 nights during the Amsterdam Dance Event together with my three friends, and we're all very happy with the stay! Mathi and Stephanie are very friendly and really know their way around the city if you want suggestions for good food, bars or clubs. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed at Stefanie and Mathi's place around July 17th. The place was great! The bikes and museum passes were a huge help! Check-in and Check-out were a breaze. They were not there so they had there friend meet us to let us in and show us around. He was very helpful and even showed (and translated) iPhone videos that Mathi had recorded on things about the apartment. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. It was a bit warm that time of year and we have to say that the ceiling fan above the bed was wonderful! That little breeze made a huge difference in air circulation. Thanks Stefanie and Mathi for opening up your apartment!

  • Stefanie was there to greet us and showed us around the apartment answering all of our questions. We really enjoyed living in the heart of town. Nothing was too far to walk to and there is a tram stop right out front. The apartment was comfortable and we felt right at home. We met Mathi the morning we were leaving. They both were willing to help where they could. We recommend this location to anyone traveling to Amsterdam. Thank you for opening your house to us. Renee, Pete and Shanan

  • Arrived on a Thursday morning to a warm welcome from Stef, she was really helpful and made us feel comfortable from the get go. A very cool apartment in a chilled part of an amazing city. Enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace and biting into some fresh grown cherry tomatoes. Loved the bikes and museum pass left for us to cruise around and enjoy the Amsterdam culture with.
there's a well quality traditional Chinese massage place next door which i also recommend.

    Thanks Heaps dudes,
    Shaun, Amethyst and Richard.
