The apartment is the perfect starting point for tourists in Vienna. Within 10 minutes by tram to the city center or going to the other direction means that you can walk in the countryside. Especially interesting for opera fans - the Volksoper is only a few minutes away.
The apartment is on the 18th District of Vienna's (2000 built) with lift and in a very neat new building. The suite is approx. 40m ². The apartment has been completely refurbished in October 2012.
There is a spacious living / sleeping area, where a large comfortable double bed is available. Furthermore, there is a small dining table, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers on which the TV is in the room. There is also a very large kitchen with all amenities (dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, toaster and kettle), a hall and a large bathroom / wc with shower. Also, the apartment is equipped with international TV channels and a mobile air conditioner. Additionally, you can rent for the duration a parking space in the basement.
The apartment is an ideal base for tourists in Vienna. The city center can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes or you get on the tram line 40 or 41, which runs 2 minutes away from the apartment. By tram you are within 10 minutes of downtown. In addition, the metro station (U6) "People's Opera" is only 2 tram stops away from the apartment.
From the apartment you are walking in a minute in the Währingerstraße, the shopping street in the 18th District. There you will find, among other supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, post office, banks and many nice restaurants.
Five minutes walk from the apartment is the Kutschkermarkt which is one of the last two street markets of Vienna. There is always a lot lot and depending on the season, the various regional and seasonal products offered especially loving. Between gorgeous fresh fruit and vegetables you can find a wide variety of pleasure products.
Within the apartment there are also many parks. The Schubert Park, and the Währinger Park are within a few minutes, but the Türkenschanzpark also just a 15 minute walk. I think one would really have enough time away from the hustle of the big city, it is just a 7 minute drive to the Vienna Woods and can also just walk in the woods.
Summarized: "It feels like home in a village, but with all the advantages of a big city."
