We invite you to stay in this private self contained solid brick one bedroom unit set in a garden setting. The free standing unit is located at the back of our house, with its own separate entrance, Access is via a shared driveway. This is a delightful and tranquil setting.
Sleeps two in comfort, with up to an additional two people, if you are happy with the sofa bed in the lounge.

The unit has polished floors, reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating in the living room and has its own separate entry. It is fitted with a smoke alarm.
Quality linen is provided. The unit is extremely quiet as it is constructed of double brick.
The unit is made up of:
•Separate bedroom with queen size bed, quality linen and built in wardrobe.
•Living room with couch that converts to double bed and dining table. There is a LCD TV with DVD player and a library of movies.
•Fully equipped kitchen includes fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric stove top cooker
•Bathroom/Laundry has shower and full laundry facilities including washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.
•Quality towels and linen are provided as is tea, coffee and other basic items.
You have a private courtyard area with outdoor setting and access to a BBQ and clothesline.
Feel free to use some herbs from the vegie patch.
This home is central to many great amenities while also being located in a nice quiet street.
Children are welcome.

Our names are Sharon and Danny; our kids are grown up and have left home. We have spent many years traveling the world, and are always happy to have a chat and tell stories of our adventures, and hear about yours, but we also appreciate your need for space which you can have in this self-contained unit.

Danny is semi-retired these days, so around if you need anything. You can be assured of having a delightful stay with as much privacy or interaction as you choose. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

The unit has nothing shared with the house on the same block. It has a separate and private entrance.
We do allow smoking, but only in the garden area.
Sandringham is a small bayside suburb 16 km from the CBD. The unit is a ten minute walk to the beach.
Sandringham Village or Black Rock Village is a 15 - 20 minute walk away where you will find boutique clothes shops, café/bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, bottle shop, newsagent, post office, chemist, milk bar, hairdressers and much more.

There are some lovely parks in the area for your enjoyment.
If you are into sailing you will be within close proximity to major attractions including the ISAF Sailing World Cup and The Asia Pacific Regatta. Other local attractions include the Sandringham Yacht Club and the Trevor Baker Beach Oval.
Philip Island (where you can see penguins & seals on the beach) is about 1hr away; Magnificent Mornington Peninsula is less than a 1 hour drive.
Sandringham is about 1 hr drive from some of the best wineries in Australia.
Close to bike and walking paths that link to places all over Melbourne.
There is easy access to the city, 30 minutes by train or car.
The bus (600 and 922) to St Kilda and Southland Shopping Centre is a 5-minute walk from our door.
The bus (822) to Chadstone - Sandringham via Murrumbeena & Southland is ten minute walk from our door
The train is the Sandringham line. This runs direct into the City, it runs every eight minutes peak hour or 20 minutes off peak. It's a 20 minute walk; or both buses mentioned above will take you there.
If you are driving, street parking is available.

We are pretty easy going and look forward to your stay.
Smoking is permitted in the garden only. Strickly no smoking inside the unit.
Please provide your ID when you check-in.
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during the stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
