An ideal room for a single traveler or a couple. Only about 100 meters from Prague Castle with a romantic 16 century ambience. You have access to using the communal kitchen as well. I recommend this room in the summer as you got a pravate valcony or courtyard for smoking and hanging out.
My pension apartment is only 200 meters from the Charles Bridge, an unbeatable location in the center. It is located even on the Royal Trail leading to all the beautiful buildings such as "Museum of Decorative Arts", "St. Nicholas Church" etc around. Also, Maly Budha, a great vegetarian restaurant, several traditional Czech restaurants and pubs are just about one block away on the same street. Public transportation is also excellent-Tram No. 26 goes to Devicka, The Main Train Station, Zizcov area(Yuppy Town)and Tram No.22 goes to the new town(Mustek, Vinohrady etc) Any guests staying more than 3 nights get free beer and a free tour on me, too.
If you want a quiet and clean 4 star place in the city center for the price of a one star hotel room, look no further. This is it!!!!

There is one kitchen for two rooms. So if you rent the whole unit. You have 100% privacy. If you rent just a room, then you have to share the kitchen with other guests. I hope this is clear.

Unfortunately my luggage was not transferred from London and after I waited a very long time to collect it, we were finally told that it was still in London. By the time I found this out and went to call Roman he had already left as he had waited for me for a long time. I did not have a Czech SIM card and although being told by Ben that I could buy one at the airport, could not find one. The airport offered 15 minutes of free internet so I did email.
The room was as stated and was very basic. Ben wasn't around and I dealt with his business partner Roman who I met at the end when he took me to the airport for a very good rate (he was there to meet me at the airport but my bags were left in London and by the time I got through immigration it was very late and Roman was gone).
I texted my concerns to Roman - no sharp knife, no bread knife, no can opener, no toaster and a request for another towel (as it was grimy and thin) and a knife and new towel did appear. There was definitely no toaster in my kitchen.
I provided Roman with some further feedback that he was going to address. This included: there was no sharp knife, bread knife or can opener in the kitchen (apparently other travellers take them off with them - get a life and some respect to those individuals), the bed was not an inner spring mattress and was very hard to sleep on with no give, certainly not what I would call a 'real bed' and not what is in my house for about the same price on Airbnb (Roman was going to recitify that); the towels were clean but were on the low end of luxury - very thin; the sheets were poly cotton and were pilled and scratchy.
Roman was attentive to my feedback and I am sure that those things will be remedied.
It was very close - just below - the Palace which meant that it was a short walk to the palace but every day home it was a walk up a very steep hill which was fine for me but might be an issue for some people. It was a comfortable walk across the river into the old town. The train and tram were also easily accessible.
The wifi was reliable and there were good eating choices only a few doors down.
I would recommend this as budget accommodation.
The room number 3 is ok. it is nice, clean and big enough. And they were very nice to let me be there 2 hours more after check out time. On the other hand ,I had a problem. They offered me a small room for the first night. It was dirty, small, obscure and has humidity stains in the walls. And without discount!! They should not offer that room to customers.
