The romance begins the moment you enter our gated, five-acre forest. Built entirely for you and your guest alone, Bide in the Trees offers absolute seclusion without the stress. Leave your luggage worries behind with our effortless, step-free walkway, and instantly step into a dreamy, elevated world. From the main-level French doors out back, your private paradise expands into the canopy. Hold hands as you stroll along our breathtaking, 100-foot custom Skywalk suspended 20 feet above the forest floor. The path leads to an intimate Skydeck, where you can sip wine, listen to the whisper of the Georgia pines, and stargaze under a completely unobstructed night sky.

Race each other on the only dual zipline in the U.S. that crosses state lines, or tackle the world's largest urban white-water rafting course together.
Pine Mountain & Callaway Gardens (40 miles) — A Scenic Escape: Pack a picnic and spend the day exploring gorgeous botanical gardens, sunbathing on lakeside beaches, and renting bicycles to cruise through miles of scenic, shaded bike trails.
Providence Canyon State Park (49 miles) — An Epic Hike for Two: Known as Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon,” this breathtaking 1,000-acre park features massive, colorful canyon walls and winding hiking trails—perfect for taking stunning couples' photos.

From time to time, you will hear Fort Benning training. Although the army base is over 40 miles away, the artillery sounds like thunder in the distance and can be heard from all surrounding cities, including the treehouse. The training schedule will be posted inside the treehouse, so you'll be aware if it's happening during your stay. If you have further questions, please just ask before booking!

Only 20 miles to Columbus, GA, where you'll find world renown white water rafting and tubing, as well as the only zipline in the US that connect 2 states! Also, the Columbus RiverWalk is an outdoor 15-mile linear park that hugs the banks of the Chattahoochee River. It's a must see! The city also offers beautiful historic and educational museums, like the National Infantry Museum and Coca-Cola Space & Science Center. You'll also find a variety of eateries, including Epic, just named one of North America's most distinguished restaurants!
Several GA State Parks are also a short 40 minute drive from the treehouse. Providence Canyon State Park, also known as "The Little Grand Canyon" offers hikers over 1,000 acres to explore! It is known as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Georgia! FDR State Park is another popular destination. From the state park website: "At 9,049 acres, Georgia’s largest state park is a hiker’s and backpacker’s haven. More than 40 miles of trails, including the popular 23 mile Pine Mountain Trail, wind through hardwood and pines, over creeks and past small waterfalls. Many visitors are surprised to find rolling mountains 80 miles southwest of Atlanta. "
