The Riad was stunning and spacious with an abundance of charm. The rooms were clean and full of light. The location is also incredibly central and easy to find. Would highly recommend staying here.

We did not have a very enjoyable stay at the riad. We planned to stay for six nights but we left after the first morning as the condition of the riad was appalling, could not stay with our 4 children. 1. There were ants all over the floor in majority of the rooms. The floor was dirty, had not been thoroughly cleaned and covered in ants. 2. The state of the bathroom and shower was appalling. There was a smell coming from one of the bathrooms. All the showers apart from one were unusable due to the state that they were in. The one shower that we did use had drain blockage. 3. In the description it was stated that there was air conditioning, however when we arrived we realised that there was only 2 air con's of which only one was working. 4. In the description a washing machine was listed however we never saw one in the riad 5. Breakfast was listed in the description, however on our first morning the housekeeper did not turn up for breakfast. Khadijah had arranged to come at 9 o'clock to make us breakfast but she did not come till 11 o'clock. When we asked her why she said Michel told her not to come make us breakfast. When we got in touch with the home owner he had taken the 'breakfast included' off the description and said ' breakfast is only for gift only' + The check - in arrangements were fine, everything went as planned. + There was no problem with communication, we were able to reach Michelle regarding all our problems. + Location was okay

The riad is a beautiful place right in the center of the old town. Its possible to walk almost everywhere. Khadijah is a wonderful person who tries to make your stay as special as possible. We stayed 5 nights and had the place just for us. I would always stay at Michels place again.

The location is absolutely superb. Steps away from the Jemaa el-Fna , the riad is actually more-or-less in one of the bustling souks. However, quite surprisingly, it is quite calm, peaceful, and quiet inside the riad – an interesting contrast. The rooftop terrace is a great place to take in the evocative beauty of the medina. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, and the breakfasts were excellent. Our host Khadija was gracious, kind, and inspired us to experience the Moroccan way of living in the moment. We will be back!

This is as close to the Jamaa el Fna as you want to be... very very old world. And the restaurant at the door is the best... YOU MUST EAT THERE... Now the rooms and the wifi is just ok... but if you want old world charm and you want to experience Marrakech like locals... then this is the place. If you want extra comfort... this misses on a couple of those points. However, Michel and his host Hadija are the absolute best people that want you to enjoy your stay...

Great location, close to everything but peaceful on a tucked away street. Place is roomy and has most of what we needed, and Khadija was very helpful checking in with us daily and guiding us.
