Propreté = moyen.
The apartment was nice - it had everything (really amazing in such a small space), but there were some things that were not as great as I expected.
The bed has a spring mattress that makes you bounce around, and sleeping in it with two people made that I woke up with each move of the other. Next to that, the boiler is situated two metres above the bath tub, and it drips all the time, into the bath. This was very noisy and annoying. Hopefully this gets repaired soon!
Other than that, it was a great small apartment, quite a walk to the nearest subway station, but a very nice neighbourhood.
Very cheap flat!
Best thing is the location; really close to Hyde Park and the central zone of London. Also the building is nice, in a quite and peaceful neighborhood.
If you search for a place to rest in the night and have some quick meals, this flat is perfect.
Carrie's apartment was amazing for a short stay. I stayed with three other friends for three nights, it was a tiny apartment but enough if you just want somewhere to sleep in. Great location - quiet and peaceful at night and only around a 10 minute walk from High Street Kensington Station. The only thing was the bathroom light was broken and nobody managed to come fix it for the whole four days, but with the kitchen light on it was still easy to use the bathroom at night. However, it was overall a really enjoyable stay - also a really nice touch that both the bathroom and kitchen were so well equipped!
The best thing about this flat is the location. The building is nice and the flat is exactly as described in terms of size and amenities. It could use a little updating especially in the kitchen. I also had some niggling problems with the heating and hot water. All in all, it's a great spot for 1-2 people wanting to be located in this lovely part of London.
Good location. Fancy street. Small studio.
Good position near high street kensington underground station e in front of hyde park, very basic (beds not so confortable) but sufficient for a few days.
My family and I stayed for 9 days in November. Around the corner there are shops from cafe to restaurant. Transportation using the buses are a breeze. No problems in returning at night. Only uses the tube twice on arrival and on the last day. Twice I was asked for directions by strangers and help them with it. Tickled my bones recounting that. Twice going to Portobello Market as it was such a nice place to be in. Will definitely return to London.
Excellent stay at Carrie's apartment, which was in excellent state, clean and calm. Highly recommended!
