Just to keep it clean and tidy and respect the nice things in there !
Fiona was very welcoming and responded to questions really quickly. The house was just as described and perfect location. As a few people mentioned there can be a little noise from the high street but this is to be expected and benefits such as being close to the ferry and amenities was great for us.
House is lovely and cosy with with a nicely equipped kitchen making it easy to stay in and cook. Rooms had perfectly enough space for us. All in all, great house and location.
A fantastically well equipped place, really good for 2 families and located in the centre of Cowes which our teenagers loved. The house itself is really interestingly set out and nicely furnished. The kitchen is a bit of a squeeze when all six of us were in there eating but this wouldn't deter us from going again; we loved it.
Host was very welcoming, very prompt acceptance and incredibly helpful for general local knowledge as this was my first trip to the Isle of Wight.
Property itself was exactly as described but yet was still above expectation. Very unique feeling, yes as others said its a bit tight on the stairs but overall its a brilliant property, with views as seen in the pictures. Granted there is a bit of noise on the street side rooms but that's what to expect due to the location which was so central it's well worth it.
Plenty of space for the size it holds, and kitchen is well equipped for you to prep your own meals if you wish.
So my first trip to the IoW was a big success, mostly down to the accommodation we were lucky to find, something our entire group agreed upon. Definitely somewhere I would return to in a heartbeat.
Spent a lovely 2 night at Marina View. Fiona, the hostess, was very helpful in giving tips and recommendations about the island. Rooms were very comfortable and toilets were stocked with regular sized products. Highly recommended and perfectly located on the High Street and next to ferry, minus the noise of the High Sreet
A group of 6 of us stayed at this lovely house in Cowes for a w.e in August. We loved its location and accessibility to the ferry's it was very handy. It was a very comfortable house to stay in with a group, well decorated and quaint. The streets outside over a w.e are quite noisy for a couple of hours when the pubs shut but other than this we had no complaints.
The property was incredibly well kept and felt extremely homely from the off. The kitchen was well stocked, which made staying in to cook an easy choice (although the fish n' chippy across the road is also very good). Any questions on the house or local area were well answered in the pack provided. This is a great property with lovely views of the marina.
Marina View was a lovely property central to Cowes. However it did not have the seaviews we expected and it was higgledy piggledy with a tiny staircase and slanted floors. It was very clean and tidy although the rooms were very small. At night the noise from passerby's was quite loud and kept me awake, as the bedroom and front room was directly on the high street.
Yes - it is a quaint old seaman's cottage, and there are some sloping floors and narrow stairs, but most of our guests think this adds to its character ! The bunk room is small, but other than that the rooms are fairly generous for a little old townhouse ? And we show you all the sea views in the photos - that's what they are !
As it is on the pedestrianised High Street, of course there can be a bit of passing noise, but we are about to replace the windows on that side - to lessen this.
Overall it is usually said to have a lovely relaxing feel about it - and that is our intention.

About the Host, Fiona
Hi - we are Fiona and Will, and we've been living on the beautiful Island for 15 years now and we just love it ! We started providing Holiday Accommodation 5 years ago with our lovely little townhouse in Cowes, which has been a huge success with all our guests - hopefully due to our attention to detail and caring attitude. A couple of years ago we decided to expand our business by building a fabulous Tree House on the edge of our land. It has proved very popular indeed - so much so that we are thinking about to building another one !
We look forward to giving you a great holiday !
