Interaction with Guests
I started using airbnb because I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing the city I'm from with them. When the timing has worked out in the past, I've enjoyed meals, drinks and provided short tours with some of our past guests. If you'd like to do any of the above just let me know and I'm more than happy to do it as long as my schedule allows.
Mission is a great inner city neighbourhood that has quite a bit to offer. Whether it's the river pathway, the restaurants a couple blocks away on 4th street, the older homes in the area - it's one of the most beautiful parts of the city. It's also very close to downtown, the Stampede and a great base to explore the city from.
- Parking: There's a designated parking stall for the apartment at the back of the building.
- Public transport: There's a number of bus routes that pass just a few blocks away. You're also about a 10 minute walk away from the Erlton/Stampede C-train station.
- Car2go: If you use Car2go you can usually find quite a few of them in the neighbourhood.

Everything was perfect. Christoph was kind and helpful. The apartment was spotless and cozy and in a great area of town. Christoph greeted us, made sure we felt at home and answered our questions. He provided a number of brochures about Calgary and the area to help us decide how to spend our time. I cannot say enough how wonderful this experience was.
I had a wonderful stay at Cristoph's apartment! The photos really don't do it justice. It's extremely clean, tasteful and everything is new. It's below ground level which means it's cool on hot days, as well. Cristoph was very welcoming and answered all my questions. The location is perfect for someone who needs to visit the Stampede Park (10 minute walk) and is also close to lots of pubs and restaurants on 17th Ave. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. I definitely recommend this suite and will be staying here again the next time I in Calgary!
Christoph was an excellent host. He was responsive and accommodating, and his local knowledge of the area meant he provided good recommendations for places nearby. The apartment was immaculate and is well represented in the photos. Thanks Christoph!
Christoph was a great host and was warm and welcoming upon arrival and left me with all the information that i needed to have a great stay. The apartment is fantastic. It has everything a traveler could need and more and for my days there, I felt I had a little home away from home. It was accurately described, very clean and comfortable. The location cannot be beat! I would highly recommend Christoph's apartment to anyone looking for excellent accommodation in Calgary.
Beautiful and cozy apartment! Felt like home. Christoph was welcoming and made sure I was comfortable before he left. Thanks Christoph! Fantastic location only a few blocks from restaurants (with patios), grocery and drug store. would definitely stay there again!
We had an excellent stay at Cristoph's place. The apartment is gorgeous and in an excellent location that is central, safe and trendy. The place is super clean as well.
We didn't have the opportunity to meet Cristoph but his girlfriend Bere met us at the apartment when we arrived at midnight. She was incredibly friendly and helpful.
All in all, we had an excellent stay.
Christoph was wonderful. He let us check in early and the place was immaculate. Top of the line everything. Super comfortable bed, lovely shower. Fully stocked kitchen and the best neighbourhood you could ask for and a parking spot! We would definitely recommend Christoph's place.

About the Host, Christoph
Nothing puts things into perspective like travel .. seeing a new way of life, a new way of thinking or just eating delicious and perhaps mysterious new foods. There's fewer experiences we remember better than the things we do, people we meet when we our outside our own environment. I love it when people visit the city I was born in and enjoy experiencing all that is here.
I work in international development with renewable energy, my wife is an immigration consultant. We've both been fortunate to have (between the two of us) lived, worked, studied in North, Central and South America, South and East Asia, Europe, Australia and West Africa. We love people and languages; I've studied seven languages and my wife three.
