Perry was very accommodating despite my last minute requests for entry. He was very attentive and helped us when we were having issues entering the space. He even allowed for a really late check out. I appreciate his hospitality and look forward to staying at some of his other properties.
Great place! Definitely a hip spot in St. Louis. A block away from a lot of cute bars, restaurants and shops. A few we stopped by were: Fortune Teller, Whiskey Ring, Blank Space, Melt, and Yaquista. Having the Roku in the apartment was nice for relaxing in the apartment. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.
My stay was exactly what I was needing for a rental. Check in was very easy and I thought it was funny to have a rock and sock em robots game in the room as well. Thank you Perry.
Perry made sure that was everything was in place for us. The space met our needs and allowed us to explore St. Louis easily. Great stay.
The check in-process was super simple, and parking was readily available for our entire stay. Cherokee Street is one of my favorite areas of St. Louis, and we thoroughly enjoyed going for breakfast/lunch runs at Athlete Eats and Melt. We also loved getting (tongue!) tacos at La Vallesana.
The bed in the apartment is comfy, and it was great to be able to relax and watch shows using the Roku device and the nice little TV provided. It's a cozy little place... the outside can get a bit loud at night, but it's definitely quieter than other city apartments I've visited. We got great sleep the entire trip and had a wonderful time!
My stay at Cherokee was great. The neighborhood is very typical, and there is no danger. The St louis residents use to say that the area is dangerous, but it is not! The studio is cute and clean. I think is okay to short stays. I stayed longer (40 days) and i think it could be more resources, such as a microwaves, a vacuum cleaner and an iron. But in general, ill miss that place.
Rating- 5 stars!
My gut reaction when we pulled up was, "Oh no, this is going to be bad." The description for this place did say it was in an urban type neighborhood and it could be perceived as not a good area. However, we had zero problems. The neighbors were so nice. A guy walking his dog talked to us for a couple minutes. The people who live next door with their two dogs were out playing fetch and they were polite.
Parking was great! We even got lucky and we were able to park right outside the door the whole time we were there.
When we walked in I was so nervous that this place would have bugs, but I didn't see one single bug the whole time we were there. That's amazing!!!
The bed was comfortable, the towels were so soft. The place was exceptionally clean. Internet worked right away and Perry even gave us more than one wifi login just in case we had any problems.
The location was nice because it wasn't in the hustle and bustle of the city, but it was just a few minutes drive to all the major places we wanted to visit.
I am so happy we stayed here. It went above my expectations and it was fun feeling like a local.
