The space

Bellanina Guest House is located in the heart of Ann Arbor's historic Kerrytown District and one block from Bellanina Day Spa. This exclusive residence is on the second floor of a 160 year old home surrounded by antique perennials and across from Kerrytown Shops and Market and the famed Kerrytown Farmer's Market (open Wednesdays & Saturdays in season). The area is vibrant with life and activity. With the Kerrytown Concert House next door, classical and jazz music often escapes their confines and fills the Guest House! Our floors are creaky but are covered in Natural Seagrass flooring and antique oriental rugs. The charm of this house keeps regulars, such as parents of kids at U of M or those coming for football weekends coming back. It becomes their home away from home. We have housed many professors for short and extended stays or couples come to escape their work-a-day world in search of a little peace and quiet from the kids and a night on the town.

WIFI

I am always available 24/7 by phone. We do have a property manager as the 'go to' person but I am the back-up any time.

I lived here once for a few months and I loved it! Everything is at your fingertips. No need to cook! Prepared foods are everywhere and I found it less expensive than cooking, to get hot food at Cafe Verde's hot bar. Plus, the food is non-GMO, and organic.

Yes, there is a bus stop a block away and there are cabs at a moment's notice. But, the best thing is that you can walk all over town in every direction in less than 10 minutes!

Bellanina Day Spa, our sister company, is one block south of the Guest House. We offer a FREE steam shower when you purchase a service (facial or massage) during Tues - Thurs. Their phone is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).

Guest access

Guests have access to WIFI or wired Internet as well as cable.

Interaction with guests

I am available 24/7 by phone and my property manager, Diane Hill is also available. Her telephone number is ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). She lives 10 minutes away, while I live in North Carolina!

The neighborhood

I love everything about this neighborhood. It is alive with activity, from the Farmer's Market on Wednesday and Saturdays (in season) to Kerrytown Shops directly across the street and Zingerman's one block away. Bellanina Day Spa, our sister company, is also one block away as well as People's Food Coop Grocery Store and many restaurants.

Getting around

The bus line runs from the west to Catherine and 4th (one block away). The main bus terminal is 4 blocks down our street (south) and the Amtrack Train station is about 1/4 mile to the north.

Other things to note

Front patio for people watching and smokers.

I am a lover of all things in the spa world. My 5 1/2 pound dog, Ling-Ling, is the center of my life. When I am not in Ann Arbor, working at my busy spa and spa training school, I am creating beauty in art and enjoying gardening in my 50' geodesic greenhouse in the mountains of North Carolina. I am always seeking the high road and enjoy inspiring people and sharing my vision for our emerging paradigm.
