My apartment is a very centrally located smaller 1-bedroom near loads of shopping, museums, and nightlife. The unit is smaller, but very comfortable.
***Please note that it is located above an adult store that can sometimes be a bit lively/noisy. It is also right next door to a fire station! There is the occasional fire truck that comes out during the day (this happens less during the night, but it CAN happen).***
That being said - it's very cute and the price is right!
- 1 Kitchen (Full)
- 1 Bedroom (with a queen-sized bed)
- 1 Pull-out couch
- Living space (complete with tv, nintendo wii, blu-ray player, all of my dvd's/blu-rays, cable tv)
My kitchen area has a small 'breakfast bar' with two barstools to eat or prepare food on. The living space is a decent size, and has a couch that could sleep someone (or two people with the pull-out). Wifi is available in the apartment for free.
This is only a few blocks from Market street, which is central for all public transportation, and there are numerous bus lines within a shorter walking distance, as well. Most attractions you will be able to get to by walking, though.
The Folsoma micro-neighborhood has TONS of great food and cute bars. If you're into brunching - you've found the right place!
***A reminder and the last thing I willmention is that there is an adult store/arcade that exists right below my unit. I don't hear anything from them *most* of the time, but there is the occasional thumping of loud music coming from down there.***

Mackenzie is a great host, very accommodating.
The reservation was canceled 71 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
MacKenzie (or Kenzie as she is known) was an excellent host. She was very communicative about the apartment, it's location, and the surrounding areas. She was great in making sure I got to the apartment and that she provided anything I would need for the week. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
MacKenzie's place is well kept and centrally located, and MacKenzie herself was a gracious and responsive host. Couldn't ask for a better or more affordable spot to crash while getting out and about as much as possible. Down the street within easy walking distance are some great bars and lunch / dining spots, as well as a motorcycle/scooter rental (Dubbleju - highly recommended!) AND! a laundry spot called Brainwash that features beer, wine, sandwiches, and nightly entertainment, typically music and comedy.
Mackenzie is a very sweet lady.
She was very accommodating and her place was legit!
Location, decore everything was very nice.
the hallway wasnt that nice going in but thats SF and or cities in general sometimes.
very fun time!
i recommend Mackenzie's place for sure.
MacKenzie's place was super comfy, the location was fantastic, and she was communicative and helpful! We had zero problems with noise, both from the auto traffic and the store below the apartment. Whole foods is close by as were many excellent places to eat. We will definitely look to see if her place is available next time we head back to San Francisco.
