We have a twin room available most of the year, 2 beds could also be used as a double bed. It has a living room/dining room area and a separate kitchen area.
Cooked breakfast is not provided but guests are welcome to orange juice, tea, coffee (inc nespresso capsules in coffee machine for coffee lovers), milk, bread, cereal, fruit, snacks like Irish crisps tayto etc!!

We live close to 2 good dart stations ((Dublin Area Rapid Transit) and bus routes, close to Baldoyle village and the picturesque seaside villages Malahide and Howth are accessible by dart.
In the immediate neighbourhood there is a small shopping centre that has a good supermarket - Dunnes Stores, coffee shop/restaurant and a Mc Donalds! A Tesco grocery store is open 24 hours and is close by in Clare Hall.
The nearby Fr Collins Park has a large lake and promenade, a plaza design skate park and a 1.5km circuit track for cycling, running and walking. There is also a swimming pool nearby in Trinity Leisure Centre as well as a gym and sports hall.
There is a leisure centre which has a bowling alley ,Quasar hi-tech lazer gun tag game ,Snooker/pool tables & Odeon cinema in nearby Coolock.
In the North Dublin area we would recommend a visit to the following: Dollymount Strand, 5 km beach, a popular walking and recreational area. North Bull Island, which has a bird sanctuary, St Anne's Park, which has the Red Stables Art Centre & coffee shop/restaurant,lovely Rose Garden, and is a great place for walks and summer picnics. Malahide itself is a great coastal village but also has Malahide Castle & Gardens, set on 250 acres of park land. It has been recently refurbished and houses the renowned Avoca clothing and restaurant store, a great place for a coffee pit-stop after touring the castle. Howth village has lovely loop head walks, sea food restaurants, friendly seals bobbing in the water, cosy pubs and an outdoor week end market.
Not to mention Dublin City itself which hardly needs an introduction!!
I absolutely would recommend staying at Niamh's and John's wonderful home! Public transportation from their home to the city centre is quite convenient. Two DART stations are within a short walking distance. My stay with them was absolutely the BEST. It was so good that I even considered moving back to Dublin!!!
The week we spent in Dublin was amazing thanks to our hostfamily. They were very kind, helpful and hospitable. With them we had a lot of fun, they told us a lot of curiosities about the city and Irish traditions. We spent a lot of time together watching films and laughing. Althought two years passed we remember always with delight this stay in Dublin.
