The apartment is spacious and very well located right behind Piazza Navona. It is pleasantly decorated and was impeccably clean. It has beautiful ceilings and stone archways. The small kitchen is usable, but is strangely missing a few very important items. It had no tea kettle at all, electric or regular. So we had to boil water in a pot to make tea. There is also no automatic coffee maker of any kind, only a stove top Italian press. We found that disappointing. There is a very old toaster that had very old bread in it, so we didn't use it. Other than that, the kitchen seemed to have everything one may need to cook a meal, if so inclined.
Another issue for us was the noise level. The main bedroom is very quiet and overlooks a courtyard. The second bedroom, where the children slept, was noisy after 11 pm till about 2am because there is a loud bar right under the window. Also, keep in mind that the second bedroom has a pullout couch, not a real bed. It was fine for the kids, but I would not have been able to sleep on it. The mattress in the other bedroom was also not the most comfortable. It was a cheap simple foam mattress, that was very soft, and offered little support. There are two bathroom, one with a tub and one with a shower. Wifi worked fine in the living room, but the signal got lost in the bedrooms. TV was not important to us, but if it is for someone, keep in mind it is a 19 inch monitor, not a real TV. It works fine, but is really tiny and you can't watch it from the couch. There are plenty of DVDs in the apartment to choose from which was nice for my kids. Overall, it was a positive experience. And you can't beat the location. But considering how cheap it would be to buy a few simple items to make it more comfortable, we found it disappointing to have them missing.
Overall the apartment is nice and the location is perfect but that are a couple of things that should be improved:
1. The beds. Although Marco confirmed that there were two normal beds, one of the beds was actually a sofa bed and was too soft to sleep on. So whatever you are told, there's only one normal bed.
2. There're not enough glasses, plates, etc for 6 persons
3. We had to wait 40 minutes (!) in the pooring rain when we arrived before we were met by someone of Marco Brunelli's office.
4. The elevator was out of order when we left, so we had to carry our suitcases three floors down.
Marco was an incredibly helpful and kind host. The apartment was beautiful, clean and in THE best location in Rome. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We've stayed in the Navona Luxury NAVONA SQUARE CENTRO for 5 days and everything was really perfect. The apartment is wonderful and very well equiped. The dining/living room is huge and the kitchen has everything you need. The two rooms are perfect (one of them with its own bathroom). Also its location couldn't be better. A very quiet street but in the middle (email hidden) full of very good restaurants and wine bars and really close to Piazza Navona (2 minutes walking if so...). Also there are other places really near like the Pantheon, the Vatican, Trastevere, Fontana di Trevi, etc.
Marco is always ready to help with anything and he's a really good host. We'll repeat!
