The space

Here is some information for your stay in Marrakech and Dar Soulize .

Riad called Dar Soulize . It is located in the historical district of the medina (old city).
The neighborhood is called Baroudienne but if you lose you must instead ask Ben Youssef Mosque .
The address is 10 Derb Anboub , Baroudienne .
The Riad is not a guest house but actually a house at your disposal.
Hence the intimate and family next to this place and no hotel .
If someone asks you directions on the house you just answer that you are my family ,
I lent you home for the holidays .
Warning I assume no liability for accidents that occur during your stay. The system
insurance in Morocco is random ... even if the house is assured.

How to get to the Riad :
To access it you have to walk 7 minutes from the place called Riad Larousse .
There are no cars in the medina . Just pedestrians, donkeys and mopeds
Riad Larousse is the closest to the Riad place to park . You will find a parking, Moroccan way .
Namely a aggloméra cars all stored against each other . The guardians of this parking
will ask you not to put the handbrake as a clever move by pushing games
they will let you access your vehicle when you return it. The usual price for the night is 30 dr(URL HIDDEN)Once the car parked , ask a Carrossa . It is a small hand cart that takes you
your bags to the Riad 30dh(URL HIDDEN)Kamal normally the guardian of the house will be there to help you .

Riad Situation :
As already mentioned, Dar Soulize is at the heart of the historic centers of Marrakech.
Next to the Koubba
From Ben Youssef Mosque
The Ben Youssef Madrasa
The Museum of Marrakech
Dar Didj Cultural Centre ( Riad storks )
and the Souk de la Medina. Crossing the souk you will reach the famous Djemaa El Fna and the
Koutoubia which is the highest minaret in the region.
Other must-see places of Marrakech:
Saadian Tombs
The Majorelle Garden
The Bahia Palace
The basin of the Menara
The Dar Si Said Museum
La Mamounia for a drink ...
and many lesser known places to be discovered but by getting lost in Marrakech.

The house is on 3 levels. The ground floor, first floor and terrace.
On the ground floor you will find the patio (real part in the open air), the gasp that is small alcove
equipped with a Moroccan living room. It is the strategic location of the Riad. Where we spend most
time. The dining room and adjoining kitchen. Finally a room for 2 persons
and bathroom.
A pool is at your disposal. It is water from early May to late September.
Upstairs a second room for 2 people and bathroom. A large lounge that serves rather
winter and often room for children. There are 3 sofa beds so for 3 people.
A mattress is a little short. I hope that will not exceed the feet too ....
Access to the bedroom bathroom is also done by the balcony as there is a
double entry.
Finally the stairs leading to the terrace. Garden furniture is stored at the top of the stairs. You must ask
Kamal install the morning.
For fans of sunbathing to be careful because the sun is very bad guy throughout the year.
By metallic staircase you can access the upper terrace if courageous want a view
complete and unobstructed views of the medina and the Atlas. Caution children not to leave them unattended ...

Meals and housekeeping:
Rachida is the lady who takes care of the Riad. She does not speak much French or English and must be emphasized in order to be sure
she understood your question when you request.
She comes every day in the morning around 9am to clean, beds and bathrooms.
It is expected to prepare you a good breakfast that is offered on the first morning of your arrival.
For the rest you can ask him to manage the breakfasts and meals.
Provide 150 DHRS for breakfast.
If you want food you have to see directly with her.
The Tagine 400 drh
couscous 500 drh
Otherwise if you want to do yourself the kitchen you can do your shopping in the markets petis
and stalls of the Medina or shops of Gueliz
For wine you can buy in Assima in the district of Guéliz. 150 drh average bottle of rosé, red or white
It is customary to give a tip Rachida starting. Around 200 drh. But it's your discression.

Guarding :
Kamal is the guardian of the Riad. He does not speak good French or English and must be emphasized in order to be sure he understands your
the question if you are applying for.
If you give me your arrival time in Marrakech we will pick you instead Riad Larousse . There
where you will park the car or if you are motorized either be filed by the taxis.
It will handle the transfer of luggage to the riad Carrossa .
Normally he will sleep in the Riad during your stay. Unless you want him to leave only to return
at the end of your stay.

Restaurants :
In all the guides you will find the most famous restaurants of Marrakech.
Traditional or jet set .
Yet not far from the house you will find small cafes and traditional restaurants but new
Atay generation as the Fondouk , Topsil on the terrace of Spices ...
where more gourmet Moa as Dar Al Fassia , or the famous Yacout .
The advantage is that at night many are not far from the Riad ... Attention return !!!

That the rest is to be discovered on site. Enjoy your stay in Dar Soulize ...

My family (with 4 and 6 year old sons) recently spent four days in the Riad. It was both exactly as advertised and perfect for our Marrakech adventure! The location is right in the middle of the Medina, yet on a small side street that creates an oasis of peace in the thriving m…

This is a lovely Airbnb. Initially, I was having a very difficult time with the location, because the medina is a labyrinth, but I quickly familiarized myself with it and ended up enjoying the location. Pierre was immediately available for communication each time I had a question…

Pierre Henri was very helpful in setting up our visit, and the road is like a PALACE! The artwork is incredible, the layout fantastic, and the dipping pool a real plus on hot days. It's a GORGEOUS place and the location is ideal: right in the heart of the old city of Marrakech …

The place was wonderful. Just as listed. The location was great, right in the heart of the souk markets. There is an awesome view from the rooftop. I will definitely be wanting to stay here again when I return.

The Riad has a nice atmosphere, it is tastefully decorated and spacious. 15 min walk from the main square (Djema el Fna). Although there is no heating, the blankets provided were sufficient. Rachid was very welcoming. No wifi.
