Luxurious, spacious and eclectic is the only description of The Rabbit Warren - this wonderfully re-furbished suite. Encapsulated in a 1925 traditionally built Singaporean shophouse, this is 1 of 3 newly refurbished suites on the 2nd floor of this beautiful traditional building.
Located in the Joo Chiat area on Singapore's East Coast and which has undergone a rapid gentrification.
The room is above a restaurant with the added advantage of having been sound proofed from below to minimize disturbance and yet provide easy access when guests would like to try a meal in the wonderful Rabbit Carrot Gun.
10 minutes from Changi International Airport and 10 minutes from Singapore's CBD (central business district)
Taxis are plentiful and cheap by international standards. Buses are frequent should you choose the communal taxi.
The Joo Chiat / Katong area is a great location from which to explore all that Singapore has to offer or simply as an alternative to staying in soulless business hotels.
Consider The Rabbit Warren as your home away from home whilst in Singapore!!
Maid service can be arranged as well as outside catering for functions

Great stay across 4 nights. A very responsive and helpful host. The bar (Trenchard Arms) and restaurant which are part of the same organisation and just downstairs from the BnB rooms, are convenient, reasonably priced and the restaurant food is very good.
A "character" neighbourhood in Katong in the Eastern part of Singapore.
If you are looking for a hip and happening place to stay in trendy East Coast Road then this place ticks all the boxes. Individually designed rooms give that feeling of being somewhere totally unique. The choice of traditional furnishings and modern art work blends well with the heritage Chinese building which has wonderful wooden floors .Rabbit Carrot Gun cafe is located directly under the rooms so not far to go for delicious breakfast- poached eggs best I have ever eaten- or if you want to relax in evening after busy day in steamy Singapore. Music from cafe can be heard through the floor boards but it never closes very late so not a major problem.East Coast Rd is rather busy and noisy for my liking although the double glazing helped as well as the very comfortable beds. Not near to MRT but lots of buses stop outside and area has that great mix of local Singaporean culture mixed with a myriad of trendy and traditional eating places. Chris from Dorset sorted out all my questions and is great at hailing cabs or carrying yr luggage up the steep steps to the room. Rabbit Carrot Run is a great brand and feel sure the service and style on offer will mean it will be hopping onto a bigger platform in the not too distant future.
We stayed a full week at Rabbit Carrot Gun, and it was an overall great experience.
The studio is amazing, Richard has really put effort, love and his excellent taste into making the space impeccable. The room is spacious and he bed is a dream, but the best part of the studio is still the beautiful bathroom.
The area is also great, small beautiful shop houses, and a bit more quiet then living in the CBD. We would definitely return to the rabbits retreat when stoping by in singapore again!
Richard (Lord) met me at 1am to hand me the keys and introduce me to his Rabbit's Retreat. I could stop the review right there because it says how wonderful he is. The room is much more than a room. It's an apartment. Loved the design, the art, the historical nature of the building, the bathroom is amazing, and the location is perfect for both the local urban feel and the proximity to the East Coast beach. I was able to run every morning. Truly perfect. I would highly recommend staying in Richard's Rabbit's Retreat. Oh and you'll truly enjoy his coffee shop and bar on the first floor. Who knows, you might be able to join his family for breakfast like I did. A total experience. Thank you Richard for being a truly wonderful host and for creating the perfect place to visit while in Singapore.
A wonderful place that I can recommend to everyone going to Singapore. Well connected, plenty of restaurants around and very stylish interior design that shows taste. I really enjoyed my stay!
I love this place, great food, craft beers downstairs, rare to find so much space in a room in singapore, beutiful design, luxury feel, great location, everything close by, very short walk to shopping, cinema, gym, highly recomended.
Staying at Rabbit, Carrot, Gun is the only way to go in Singapore. I've now stayed here four times and will continue to in the future. I've also referred two friends who have nothing but good things to say. Great space, nice design, and great value for a place like Singapore.
This was my second stay at Rabbit Carrot Gun and it was definately as enjoyable as the first. The huge bath was a real treat.
Richard has a great room which is beautifully done up. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and modern. Highly recommended!
