Other Things to Note
There are at times cattle on the farm and there are opportunities for hay rides.
Anne's place was a great place for us at the end of our Cabot Trail trip. It was easy to find ( although we did get there late-in the dark ). It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We didn't actually meet her but the communication was easy, clear and helpful. Having laundry facilities was a big bonus. I highly recommend this quiet stop.

The host was obviously a working farmer - in the process of building a new barn a short distance from the property. The property is peaceful and well paced for a trips eg to Baddeck. The Dancing Goat and food store not far away.
Anne was very communicative throughout the entire experience. Her property is clearly marked, so it was very easy to find. My family and I stayed for 2 nights, and it was a very peaceful stay. Thanks Anne!
Anne and Bobby have a very nice and extremely clean place in the country that was so very peaceful and lovely. Would definitely recommend their place.
It's a nice house! Anne left the door open, so we can enter directly.
My husband and friend had chance to see how Anne's husband catch fish! Great!
We found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped and a good size for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The location is beautiful, although slightly out of the way, but we found it easy to navigate to the main highways and the Cabot Trail, which was our main interest in the area. Our hosts were very friendly and we felt if there had been any queries we could have gone to ask anything. The house was really homely and had an amazing selection of books. I very much appreciated having the washer and dryer at that stage in our holiday, and it was good to have the flexibility to cook meals at home and to pack a picnic for days out.
About the Host, Anne
My husband and I live on a farm raising organic beef and veggies. We have four children and three grandchildren who love coming to the farm to visit Opa and Grandma. Our farm is located on the beautiful SW Margaree River where we enjoy swimming and canoeing.
