The Tree House was perfect for our long weekend in Austin. We rented a car, but when we went downtown we used Uber because that was cheaper than paying for parking. It is within walking distance of a handful of restaurants , food trucks, a bakery, and convenience store. The place was clean with plenty of extra linens. Shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and iron were provided. The only recommendation I would make is more outlets or a power strip to charge phones, etc.

This was one of the best stays at an air bnb we've had. Very cozy little spot that offered everything you need for an extended weekend. Would recommend to anyone!

The place was awesome! The location was great. Not far from downtown and quiet for sleeping at night. Having the trail a half mile down the road was great for going on my morning runs. The place was very clean and bed comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and I loved the claw foot tub. I would highly recommend staying here.

This place was incredible! So clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our first trip to Austin. This place (and this whole city!) is dog friendly and it was really nice to bring my dog. The location is really great as well - close to a ton of bars, restaurants, and brunch places in the city! I cannot recommend this place enough!

We loved staying in this cozy garage apartment over the Labor Day Weekend. Even prettier than the photos, and right in the heart of a lively and up-and-coming neighborhood full of great restaurants, coffee places, and bars with live bands - all locals. Cristina provides a very handy guide to the neighborhood. You're in a mixed hood with long-standing Latino families and newly arrived yuppies and hipsters, and the whole mix is just very Austin. You're a short drive (or rent a bike and ride) to downtown and Town Lake. We'll definitely stay here again when visiting Austin.

Christina's Tree House was a welcome, quiet, and comfortable respite from the rain that arrived when hurricane/storm Harvey struck. Check in/check out was easy, and everything was clean and just as advertised. For a quick bite at very reasonable prices, check out Mr Natural just a block away. Should we return to Austin, we will be sure to stay at the Tree House again.

I am an El Paso native and John is from Sheboygan, WI! We have lived in Central East Austin for about six years. We enjoy our neighborhood and want you to experience everything Austin has to offer from great restaurants and entertainment to SXSW, ACL, X Games and Formula 1. Our dog Azore loves guests and will often greet them with barks followed by licks.

Our favorite thing to do on a Sunday morning is to walk the dog on the hike and bike trail, stop at the Rowing Center to enjoy the view of the lake, then have breakfast at Jo's Coffee on West 2nd Street and walk back home through downtown. Cenote, which is just three blocks away is our neighborhood staple. It's great for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a nice beer and wine list. If you are up for a walk, head over to East End Wines, order a bottle of wine and dine from the trailer in the parking lot - Three Little Pigs. It's one of my favorite outings.

Let me know what you are interested in and I am happy to offer suggestions. This city is lots of fun and I would love to help you maximize your enjoyment!
