You will find being within a stone's throw away of supermarket´s; restaurants; coffee houses; Nannarella ice-cream shop (best in town); the Portuguese Parliament; the house where the famous fado singer (Amalia Rodrigues) use to live; and one of the most kept secrets in town, “Praça das Flores”, a charmful and cosy public garden where you can relax and watch the locals and their daily serenity when the day starts to end.
Taking tram number 28 will be an once in a lifetime experience and you´ll find a stop within 2 min walking distance. Other nearby public transportation includes the green, blue and yellow metro lines (Rato or Cais do Sodré stations) as well as 3 bus lines able to connect you to anywhere in the city.

We spent 2 nights in this apartment during our trip to Lisbon. The apt is well located in a non-touristic, residential and quiet area. It's just a 10-15 minutes walk to Baixa and Bairro Alto and 2 minutes walk to the closest stop of Tram 28.
The flat is very original with artistic decorations and a very personal touch. The bathroom is tiny and steps a bit steep but the bed is very comfortable.
Wifi works well and there is an adorable diary with notes and suggestions from all the previous guests from all over the world!
We had a nice and comfortable stay at Sofia´s place. The location is cozy, quiet and clean. The neighborhood is lovely. The living place is located very near to the prime places in Lisbon, so we mostly walked to our destinations of this city.
The communication with Sofia is very good. She answers quickly and she gives you the feeling that you are very welcome and she is absolutely reliable as well.
We say thank you very much and bye for now ;)
This was a brilliant stay and well worth the money spent. This was our first go at airbnb, and the two of us have been happily converted to this way of travelling. Situated in the heart of local living we were pleasantly out of the way of the more tourist-centric areas.
-Particularly useful was being so close to the parliament as this was a clear site to navigate our way through the often deceptive grid-like streets.
Sofia was helpful, texting us about potential travel issues and her husband was v.friendly, stopping by to welcome us and offer advice/ideas for things that we may be interested in.
Siamo state benissimo nell'appartamento di Sofia.
We had a great time in Sofia's flat. The flat is nice and really clean, it has all the necessary you need. It's perfect for two people even if the bathroom is really tiny (not really comfortable for tall people). It is located in a lovely, quite neighborhood not far from Bairro Alto (if you are a walk lover you can easy reach the center by foot). Sofia is really kind and helpful, it's easy to communicate with her.
A great little place, cozy and decorated with love. We were welcomed by Sofia's mother, who went above and beyond duty in also letting us in when we struggled to open the door later the same day and lent us her umbrella! The location is great too, very close to tram and metro, and only fairly short walk through a beautiful part of Lisbon away from the very centre. An area worth exploration itself! The entry is located on a gorgeous little alley, which is quite steep and might be difficult to access if mobility is an issue. The place itself is charming, a bit darker than expected perhaps, kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the wi-fi works great, there's even a hairdryer. Both the bed and sofa are very comfy. Definitely a great place to make your cave in Lisbon :)
This apartment is really nice, we loved it! Very good location (Tram 28 really close or walk for only 10 minutes and you're in the Chiado) and very quiet. We also enjoyed very much that Bruno (Sofia's husband) welcomed us and took time to explain everything about the apartment and tell us about what was great to do in Lisbon. If we were to come back in Lisbon, we would book it again!
