Interaction with Guests
This is my primary residence so it's only available when I am travelling for work...which is a lot! :) I am always available by phone or email to help guests with any questions or issues, no matter where in the world I am.
I don't know my work travel schedule for 2016 yet, so I'm unable to confirm any reservations for next year at this stage. Please contact me around October 2015 for any 2016 reservation requests as I should know more about my schedule then.
Five minute stroll to Coffee Pot Bayou, great for biking, walking, or running along the Florida waterway with good chances of seeing dolphins, manatees, rays and plenty of bird life. A short drive to some of the best beaches in the world (Ft De Soto, Clearwater, Siesta Key...all named best beaches in recent years by (website hidden)). Many options for golf, tennis, biking, kayaking and other water sports. Close to the bustling waterfront restaurants and shops and St Petersburg Pier. Just a 20 minute drive across the bay to Tampa and less than 90 minutes door-to-door from my house to Disneyworld, Universal Studios and other Orlando attractions.
Public transportation is not a strong point of St Pete. There are buses available with stops close to the house, but to really enjoy the area I would recommend renting a car. If you plan to just stay in the downtown St Pete area, then you can easily walk or bike around.
No smoking and no pets please.
You are welcome to use anything in the house, but please put things back where you found them.
Accidents happen...if you break something during the stay, please let me know.
Large open plan living area, leading to office on the left, kitchen ahead, bedrooms and bathroom on the right.
Relaxing experience and great location! A home away from home. Lyn truly welcomes her guests with all the amenities of being at home. Nice yard for playing frisbee and freeze tag with the kids! Organized, detailed instructions and "how to" list make the entire stay easy, comfortable, and friendly. Fantastic spot within walking distance of Fresh Market and Trader Joes for those fellow organic, health food conscious guests. Lyn is accessible if needed and checks in to make sure all her guests needs are met. Truly a gem! Definitely would stay here again!
I had the best time at Lyn 's home ! The place is great . My friend that came with me was very happy , it bring her first Airbnb experience. No stairs to climb , ranch style home with a lot of charm . Did not get to meet Lyn but she keep in touch making sure everything was good for us. Not far from down town . About a 6 dollar Uber ride . Every thing you need is available in the kitchen. Great to be able to cook some meals and save money for the great things you do on vacation . If you're going to Saint Pete this is a great place to stay. Don't think twice book it !! You will not be disappointed.
After my last stay, I suggested that anyone considering this place should not hesitate. Having just spent 3 months in this blissful setting with my partner, I would recommend to you to Jump. It is a perfect solution for anyone looking to stay in a comfortable, well equipped, and very pretty neighborhood. It was very hard leaving this idyllic setting. The neighborhood is quiet, tree laden, and a block from the coffeepot Bayou. A sidewalk winds along the water to to downtown. I often rode my bike to town and saw manatees, dolphins, spoonbills, egrets, pelicans, fishermen, paddle boarders and several parks including one with 200 varieties of palm trees. The downtown was delightful, filled with superior and varied cuisine three museums and lots of parks. In Lyns' neighborhood there were terrific markets; Trader Joe's , The fresh market, a wonderful produce market (open 7 days a week) just a couple blocks away. We ate BBQ, Thai, frozen yogurt and Cuban sandwiches within a few blocks. Back in New England there is rarely a day that goes by where I am not thinking of the wonderful stay. Hope to make it back soon........
This is a great house and Lyn is the perfect hostess. This was our second time at Lyn's house and we just loved it just as much the second time. The house is perfectly located to enjoy all that St. Petersburg has to offer. It's comfortable and quiet, but still near everything you need. Thank you Lyn.
Very nice place in a great part of town. Easy access to downtown. Walking distance to Fresh Market is very convenient. House is in great shape, well decorated, clean, comfortable furniture and has everything you need. Well equipped, functional kitchen. Street is quiet and well maintained. Lyn is an excellent host and communicates very well. Highly recommend for your stay in St. Pete.
The house is darling. It is extremely clean, well equipped and quiet. It is located only a couple of blocks from the water; prefect for morning and evening strolls. It is also perfectly located near many little shops (coffee place and yoga) on the main stretch.
This was a real find. The neighborhood is well situated and quiet and has beautiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. Lyn was a gracious and the house was charming, well appointed and clean. The beds are also very comfortable. Lots of practical information was provided which made a first visit to St. Petersberg much more enjoyable. If you are on the fence. Don't think twice.
