Henry's place was awesome! Clean, comfortable and conveniently located for our ski trip. Henry was very responsive and left us detailed instructions. We did have a minor problem with the wireless internet, but otherwise a great stay.
Everything with the condo went great. The host was courteous, responsive and easy to work with. The condo is in good shape and well stocked with bedding, towels and basic kitchen stuff. The sliding door to the master bath was missing hardware and was essentially unusable. We notified the host who said he'd get it checked out and fixed.
Keep in mind that calling this unit a two bedroom condo is somewhat misleading. It's actually one big sleeping loft with a thin, sliding partition separating the big bed and bathroom from the bunkbeds. It's stretching it a bit to call it "private." Great for families or friends, like us, who don't need much privacy. We'd rent again.
Henry was awesome, place is fantastic. Clean, cozy. Easily fit 5 adults. Everything that he described was spot on. He was very quick to respond. Had a bit of trouble working the tv but we didn't care much for it. If you do need help I'm sure he will be able to assist you.
The condo is very comfortable to spend a weekend near Tahoe. We liked it when we had our last ski and snowboard trip, so we came here again. But the room was not cleaned when we arrived. We contacted Henry, and his attitude was really great. A lady came later and cleaned the place fast. Also, we got discount on the price. Overall, we were satisfied and happy about the the condo and Henry's proper handling.
There are lots of nice things about Henry's place (nice furnishings, bathrooms (awesome showers!), massage chair(!), well-stocked, etc), but calling it a 2-bedroom is a little generous. The sleeping space for 7 is all up the spiral staircase. The queen suite is only separated from the bunk bed/sleeper sofa loft area by a sliding door. If a bunk room person needs to use the bathroom at night, they'd have to go down the spiral stairs or go through the queen room and the bathroom there has a heavy, loud sliding door. And to get to the queen room, you have to walk through the bunk area. All in all, you'd want to be pretty comfortable with your whole group if you want to share the space. It would be a good space for a family with kids, though maybe not too young because of the stairs. We had three people (me, my husband and my mom). My mom is 75 and although she walks several miles a day, xc skis, bikes, etc, she decided she wasn't game to be going up and down the stairs a bunch, so she ended up sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living room. This actually worked out pretty well for everyone since we were all willing to go to bed around the same time.
Other shortcomings include that there is practically no space to put your clothing because so much of the storage is taken up with bedding. Also, there is no dining table. There's a kitchen counter with 2 stools, but that's all for "dining" space. If you're planning to do your own cooking and have a larger group, this would be problematic.
The wifi wasn't really useable while we were there, but we had our own Verizon hotspot so we didn't pester Henry about it. T-mobile was pretty useless.
Henry was very quick responding to our rental request etc.
This is a pretty nice and cozy place. It's clean and nicely organized. We have 5 people, and I believe this is a pretty comfortable number to stay in this condo. We somehow couldn't connect to wifi at night, but the wifi came back to work in the morning. Henry is great helpful. Overall it is a great stay here.
