The apartment was nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed and extra pillows and duvets if required. Despite advertising wifi - there was no wifi available. The TV also did not work and the shower was very poor. Despite this, the apartment was in a great location and there was a wonderful restaurant a couple of doors down, that I would highly recommend!
We had a fantastic weekend in the apartment! The location was perfect! 2 minute walk to Ponte Vechio and Palazzo Vechio. 5 minutes to the cathedral in Piazza del Duomo! There are restaurants and shops very near and all within walking distance. We arrived about an hour before the host expected us, but a quick phone call and they were there with the key within 10 minutes! The apartment is perfect for 2 people for a few days! It was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. We did not use the kitchen, because there were/are too many opportunities to eat out, but it had all the basics! The bathroom is small, but was fine. The water pressure in the shower was low, but the water was always hot and plentiful! The heat and wifi worked perfectly. Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful city!

Don't stay here. It's not worth it.
The apartment was not fully furnished, and had a number of missing or broken items. As one example, when we were checking in we asked where the detergent for the washing machine was. After looking around a bit, the man checking us in realized there wasn't any, and promised to bring us some the next day. We followed up by email and he confirmed he'd bring it during the day. When we didn't see him, we messaged again and got the reply that they "forgot" and would be coming THAT day instead. They never showed, and didn't answer any followup emails after the fact. Eventually, we gave up on ever hearing from them and bought our own detergent. But of course, the washing machine was broken and left our clothes covered in soapy water, which we then had to try to wash out by hand.
They were late checking us in, and didn't respond to messages sent the day that we were traveling in, which maybe should have been our first red flag.
After check-in, we never saw the people again and were left to ourselves. The apartment was incredibly dusty, with large dust-balls visible on the floor under the bed. Since one of us was sick and the other has allergies, this made us miserable the whole time we were there. The water pressure in the apartment is very weak, and yet the shower's drain is clogged enough that it backs up immediately, so your whole shower you're standing in a pool of dirty water. As another example of the general state of the apartment, the "non-stick" frying pan had more bare metal than teflon showing on it, and running a finger along it flakes off more teflon dust, which would coat your food if you ever decided to cook in it. This is another thing we asked for a replacement for and never heard back on. The wifi was very inconsistent, and would be unusable for hours at a time.
The apartment is in a good location, yes, but Florence is a small city. Find somewhere that's actually maintained, and it will still be an easy walk to wherever you need to go.
not very convenient check-in experience, we waited at the front door for 20 mins. The flat is ok, but the shower sucks. The most annoyed part is the check-out. We text him asking what time to check-out the day before check-out day but the host didn't reply. so we went out in the morning the next day, then at around 10h30am, he called me telling us to leave RIGHT NOW, so we rushed back, took our luggage, and went to a restaurant with all luggage... I won't recommend this flat, and definitely won't go back again.
Perfect location. Clean accommodation. Fairly comfortable bed.
The apartment couldn't have been in a more ideal position for exploring the beautiful city of Florence. Davide was waiting for us outside when we arrived, making the checking in so simple. There was plenty of space for myself and my 2 children, and everything we needed was there, including wifi that worked fine (which doesn't seem to be a given in italy - we have found many dodgy connections). Davide also provided me with information on where to find the places we wanted to go, as well as kindly storing our luggage for a few hours on departure day. An all round fantastic place to stay
Great location in the center of Florence downtown. There is a restaurant right downstairs that was the highlight of our visit to Florence. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues during our stay such as door locks, mosquitos, power outages, however the hosts were always just a call away and were very prompt to make our stay the best it could be.
WE ARE very disappointed with My Suite in Florence and would not stay there again nor recommend it. Read on if you want to know why.... My husband is disabled suffering from left sided paralysis and on a wheelchair. And as such, he has difficulty climbing up and down stairs but could feebly walk up a few steps by holding on to the stairs railing. So the NEED FOR A PLACE THAT IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR OR ONE THAT HAS AN ELEVATOR AND IF NONE STAIRS WITH RAILINGS as the last resort. My Suite in Florence advised us that "Suite is available and you are welcome to stay. Your suite is located at first floor and the (sic) is an elevator." (Emphasis Added). Based on this we reserved the suite. We were terribly disappointed when we arrived. The apartment was not on the first floor but on the second floor and while there was an elevator, to reach the elevator, one has to go up a series of marble stairs that has only railings on the right side. Worst, the railings were so loosely attached to the wall that it was falling off its bracket thus posing a big danger to my husband or anyone using it. The railing was likely to fall off the wall with a little force such as by grabbing on to it. We expressed our disappointment to the two guys that met us at the suite. At first they were in denial about their response as to the location and existence of the stairs. We insisted pointed out the issues of: * the second floor location and not on first floor * stairs with railings only on the right side to get to the elevator. * for my husband to get down the stairs, he has to walk backwards holding on to the railings by his arm as his left arm and body is paralyzed * NO WIFI; * lack of adequate kitchen tools to cook a meal. There was not even a knife or a wine bottle and worst of all the kitchen * devoid of any breakfast food or snack food to welcome a guest, not even a bottle of water. We were told by the two guys that it is against Italian law to provide food. When we answered back that all the other AirBnB hosts we stayed in had provided adequate breakfast food, their answer was that these people were breaking Italian law. After hours of discussions and negotiations, they finally agreed that we transfer to another apartment which was much farther away from the center of Florence. While the apartment was doable, the distance made it very difficult for my husband and myself. It was not easy to push a wheelchair in the rough cobbled streets of Florence plus the distance to reach places. Consequently we spent a lot of extra money for taxis. We found the same issues in the second apartment. No adequate cooking equipment, not even...
4 of us stayed here and we fit fine. The couch pulls out into a bed, so 2 were on the bed and 2 on the couch. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Florence and easily walkable to everything. The hosts gave us recommendations of places to eat when we arrived. The apartment was a little dirty compared to the pictures, but they did respond and accept our request the same day we sent it so maybe they didn't have enough time to give it a thorough cleaning...I'm not sure. The bathroom was kind of grimy. The wi-fi internet did not work. They said it was not working because of a storm the night before. They said they would bring a new router the next day and they didn't. We emailed them from an internet cafe and they said they would definitely bring a new router on the 2nd day, but they never brought one. The washing machine also did not wash properly. The clothes were soaked when it was finished. Location was good. Internet and cleanliness not so good.
The location of the apartment was great, easy to find and good communication for check in.
