About this listing
You're welcome to come spend your time in Lillehammer in the second floor of my house. It's actually the main house of a small farm on a property overlooking the valley. No animals or farming going on today but you should take some time to enjoy what may be the best view you'll get of the Lågen delta. Tourists regularly stop at the bottom of the property to take pictures of the view. You can enjoy it through the panorama windows in the living room with a blazing fireplace warming your back.
The house is over two floors. The second floor has two bedrooms with a king size bed and a sofa in each, a small office and even a small fireplace. This will be your private quarters during your stay. The first floor is yours to share with me. It has a kitchen, bathroom, toilets and a large living roomwith a dinner table, couch, tv, high quality sound system, a fireplace and panorama windows overlooking Lillehammer and the whole valley. There's also a large and new veranda and an Internet connection.
The house is a located a little outside of the city centre. If you travel by car it's a perfect base for enjoying all the activities Lillehammer has to offer. If you're not travelling by car there's a bus passing regularly that takes you straight to the main station in Lillehammer. The buss stop is just a 10-15 minutes walk down a scenic road. There's also the option of a free taxi that can pick you up in the morning on any regular work days. I also have a car and I'll be happy to drive or pick you up if it fits with my schedule.
What more... There are loads of DVDs, CDs, Bluerays, and board games in the house that you're free to use. I'll also be happy to assist you as a guide or even drive you to the best cross-country skiing spots if I have the time when you're visiting. Please get in touch with me in advance to know.
I'm 50 years old, originally French but been living in Norway for almost 30 years. In my free time I like doing Yoga and dancing Argentinian Tango. I've travelled a lot in my life, and speak several languages fluently. Always looking forward to host my next guest.

Francoise was very kind and helpful explaining the area. She also was very interesting to visit with. The house has the most incredible view.
Mycket trevlig värdinna och vackert beläget hus! Vi var mycket nöjda med inkvarteringen
Quite place 6m outside the town center, nice view of the valley. Good communication with the host. We had a nice chat with Francoise. House is on unpaved road, keep driving ahead since the GPS might say something else.
Cosy, quiet accomodation with a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful host Francoise. If you are planning a stay in Lillehammer - go there :-).
Françoise owns a lovely, bright house a short drive away from Lillehammer centre. It provided an excellent base to see the city though we enjoyed the quietness of the house so much we stayed in and relaxed instead. The kingsize bed is definitely a plus and if you're in the right season, you may try the amazing honey Françoise produces from her back garden. Thanks for hosting us!
