Your living quarters are the whole first floor of my house. Three bedrooms and very cosy beds.
Based in the main house of a cosy country home overlooking Lillehammer and valley.
Do take some time to enjoy what may be the best view available over the Lågen delta.
Visitors love the surroundings and to take pictures of the stunning sights.
You can enjoy it through the panorama windows of the living room with a blazing fireplace to warm you at the end of a busy day.
What more... There are loads of DVDs, CDs, Bluerays, and board games in the house that you are free to use.
I will also be happy to assist you as a guide or even direct you to the best cross-country skiing spots, attractions and local delights during your stay.

Two very comfy bedrooms on the first floor are available for guests with a king size bed and a sofa in each of them. A small office and even a small upstairs fireplace are available. These are your private quarters during your stay. The ground floor is ours to share with its spacious and fully furnished modern kitchen, bathroom, toilet and its large living room and dining space.
A cosy couch, TV, high quality sound system, a fireplace and panoramic windows overlooking the city of Lillehammer and the whole valley.
A large veranda overlooks the valley with outdoor sitting space and WIFI Internet connection throughout the house.

I work in Lillehammer and I am always going to be there to help and guide when you need my help-
I'm French of origin but I have lived in Norway for almost 30 years.
In my free time I like doing Yoga and dancing Argentinian Tango.
I've travelled a lot worldwide, and speak several languages fluently.
I always look forward to hosting my wonderful guests in my home .
Close to the world renowned Winter Olympic Village of Lillehammer (last in 1994 and due for a new Youth olympic round in 2016).
A range of museums (Olympic museum, Art Museum, Maihaugen Folk museum...), the Olympic park.
Mjosa lake (the largest norwegian lake) with steam boat rides.
Stay alert for lots of sightings of wildlife (elks, bears, squirels...)
Miles and miles of footpaths and cross country paths as well as bob sleigh and luge tracks for the snow lovers.
Good shopping options and many delightful cafes and restaurants in this highly touristy spot.
Regular festivals (litterature and jazz music), concerts, sports conventions and contests.
The house is located just outside of the city centre. If you travel by car it's a perfect base for enjoying all the activities Lillehammer has to offer. If you're not travelling by car there's a bus passing regularly that takes you straight to the main station in Lillehammer. (Car pick up services can be arranged for an additional fee of 150 NOK per ride). The bus stop is just a 10-15 minutes walk from the house down a scenic road. There's also the option of local taxi that can pick you up in the morning on any regular work days for a fee.
Other Things to Note
Olympic Games will be back in Lillehammer from 12th to 22nd February 2016.
Come and enjoy the party in the best sight for the fireworks.
I will be hosting guests during the olympics on the village.
Smoking is not so popular in Norway and ever so bad for the health anyway :-)
Exceptions can be made if you only use the outdoor space and special ashtrays provided and if you are extra careful of the fire risks.
Do get permission in advance and I will offer you a yoga session as a detox alternative if you so wish....
I am a 52 years old french women. I have been living for more than half part of my life in Norway and the last 18 years in Lillehammer. I like walking, skiing, guiding people around and learn about other peolple and culture. I am open-minded. Nice to have som space for sharing your rooms. I do a lot of yoga and this automn I took Ashtanga TTC for teaching yoga to others... (extra: if interest I will rather learn yoga to some of my guest)
