The Dog & Pony Ranch offers spectacular views, swimming pond, hot tub, off-leash hiking trails, and more! Enjoy a peaceful getaway at our popular farm stay with the option of interacting with friendly horses, mini-donkeys, and chickens (extensive fencing keeps dogs safely separated).

The space
Guests LOVE our unique dog-friendly ranch and we have been delighting guests since 2013. We are now phasing down to retirement so are only offering a couple of weekends a month for overnight rentals as of 2025 – don’t miss out if you see dates available that work for your schedule.

Ranch life doesn’t have to be rustic as you’ll see in our comfortable guest house with spectacular sunset views, hot tub, and many amenities. Everything is designed to make 4-footed family members welcome too from extensive fencing (guest and owner fenced yards, barn animal fencing, and perimeter fencing around 60 acre property) to dog-friendly furnishings and more. We rent to only one group at a time, so you have as much privacy as you want in this relaxing country paradise.

You aren't just renting accommodations -- you are getting private access to 60 acres of fun! There are so many things to do on our ranch including miles of off-leash hiking trails, swimming pond, game room, and basketball/pickleball courts. Our location offers the best of both worlds with the rural privacy to re-connect with nature PLUS the conveniences of being only a few miles from small country towns (Pine Grove, Jackson and Sutter Creek) for groceries, restaurants, and more.

Access to entire fenced 60 acres except pasture/barn where horses/donkeys/chickens reside, and the owner's main house/yard.

You are the only guests during your dates so no worries about encountering other guests' dogs (owners will coordinate as needed for their dogs' daily walk).

Troy & Cyndi are animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts whose dream was to build a beautiful home for their dogs & horses. We bought our 60-acre property as raw land and developed it into our Dog & Pony Ranch. We travel frequently with our well-behaved dogs and are often frustrated with places who supposedly “allow” dogs having many restrictions and high fees (we don't). Since 2013, we have WELCOMED dogs (& their people) at our dog-friendly ranch.
