House Rules
Check in time is 12PM (noon) - 2PM

The apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay but we would appreciate you observing the following:

Our check in time is very flexible, when no guest is due to check out the same day, and should be coordinated prior to your arrival. Checkout is also quite flexible, conditional to any arrivals.

We ask that you please not smoke inside the apartment.

You will be supplied with keys so you can come and go as you please. Lock the door fully (three turns) when leaving the apartment.

Our apartment will accommodate one person or a couple. If you have a baby we can supply a cot; please arrange this with us when making your booking. We can also supply a plastic baby tub for bathing as we have shower facilities only.

Due to safety and security risks we ask that you not bring strangers onto the property.

Sorry but no pets allowed.

To respect the neighbours nearest the apartment please keep the noise down between 10pm and 6am.

We try to keep our environmental impact as low as possible; please remember to turn lights off in areas of the apartment not being utilised and keep the duration of your showers down to a minimum.

Please hang washing on the line outside (2nd patio) or within the tiled shower area and not in the apartment or on the furniture.

We can service the apartment and keep it clean for you at an additional charge. Please make your request at time of booking. Otherwise tidy up after yourself and leave the apartment in the same condition you found it.

Please don't wear outdoor shoes in the apartment. When entering the apartment we prefer you remove your shoes as there is no carpet steam cleaning or other methods of cleaning carpets available in Cusco.

We ask that you respect and care for the apartment and in the event that something gets broken we expect you to replace or fix it.

Please use the WI-FI within moral and legal boundaries.

Water supply to Cusco is shut-off between 1pm and 5pm and then again from 9pm and 4am. We do have a 250 litre water tank to ensure you always have water in the apartment but showering during these times is not always guaranteed due to low water pressure.

Please let us know if there are any maintenance issues that arise during your stay.

Street parking is available in front of the apartment although it’s first in best dressed.

Thank you for washing your dishes and otherwise leaving the apartment as you found it when you check out.

We welcome all law abiding, considerate and maturely behaving adults.

We look forward to making your stay a comfortable and happy one.

I will start with the good, because this place deserves it. The view is awesome, you will get quite the vista from dawn through until late. The place has decent speed wifi for Peru (if it is slow unplug it and plug back in seemed to work). You will be really close to all the shops and restaurants which is great when facing uphill climbs at altitude. Cable TV with the options to change the language to English for some channels and a really massive comfy bed and blankets to come home to post a long day(s) of trekking. But there are some things to be aware of. Firstly Katherine said she would meet me at the bus station but didn't, ok fair enough I got a cab when I arrived. Secondly the place is not what I would call clean but then perhaps my standards are too high. It was as clean as a bloke's student flat, this could be because people are asked to clean it themselves. Lastly noise, the water pump for the whole building is above your head so while people are using showers, loos, etc it will make a noise similar to a blender until people go to sleep. If you are a light sleeper you won't like that but you will hate the noise coming from the clubs nearby which one night made the place vibrate. But I'm from London and a heavy sleeper so took it on the chin. All in all though a great place to stay, this is just an honest review.

Katherine was very accommodating and friendly. Excellent location.

Large, clean, and comfortable apartment 5 minutes from the Plaza de Armas. Katherine made check in and out extremely easy and went out of her way to meet us at 6:30am after our rough overnight bus ride. The amenities were great, ELECTRIC HEATERS! (our first in Peru), PS3, DVD library, books, washing machine, and more! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This apartment is like a large studio. It is a mixture of rustic (high ceiling) and modern IKEA style furnishing. Katherine is a great host, responsive and available. The first night I stayed there the noise from either the water tank or a p Water pump was quite. The hot water is tricky but you can't beat it for the view. .
