The apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay but we would appreciate you observing the following:
Our check in time is very flexible, when no guest is due to check out the same day, and should be coordinated prior to your arrival. Checkout is also quite flexible, conditional to any arrivals.
We ask that you please not smoke inside the apartment.
You will be supplied with keys so you can come and go as you please. Lock the door fully (three turns) when leaving the apartment.
Our apartment will accommodate one person or a couple. If you have a baby we can supply a cot; please arrange this with us when making your booking. We can also supply a plastic baby tub for bathing as we have shower facilities only.
Due to safety and security risks we ask that you not bring strangers onto the property.
Sorry but no pets allowed.
To respect the neighbours nearest the apartment please keep the noise down between 10pm and 6am.
We try to keep our environmental impact as low as possible; please remember to turn lights off in areas of the apartment not being utilised and keep the duration of your showers down to a minimum.
Please hang washing on the line outside (2nd patio) or within the tiled shower area and not in the apartment or on the furniture.
We can service the apartment and keep it clean for you at an additional charge. Please make your request at time of booking. Otherwise tidy up after yourself and leave the apartment in the same condition you found it.
Please don't wear outdoor shoes in the apartment. When entering the apartment we prefer you remove your shoes as there is no carpet steam cleaning or other methods of cleaning carpets available in Cusco.
We ask that you respect and care for the apartment and in the event that something gets broken we expect you to replace or fix it.
Please use the WI-FI within moral and legal boundaries.
Water supply to Cusco is shut-off between 1pm and 5pm and then again from 9pm and 4am. We do have a 250 litre water tank to ensure you always have water in the apartment but showering during these times is not always guaranteed due to low water pressure.
Please let us know if there are any maintenance issues that arise during your stay.
Street parking is available in front of the apartment although it’s first in best dressed.
Thank you for washing your dishes and otherwise leaving the apartment as you found it when you check out.
We welcome all law abiding, considerate and maturely behaving adults.
We look forward to making your stay a comfortable and happy one.
My boyfriend and I stayed for 6 nights. We orginally booked for 5 but extended as we were very comfortable there. Katherine was incredibly accommodating.
Katherine is a fantastic host. She met us at the airport, arranged transportation and talked us through what we could get up to in and around Cusco.
The gas ran out for the cooker on our last day and was replaced within the hour after a phone call to Katherine. We thought that was incredibly quick and helpful.
The apartment is fully equipped and we loved being able to cook and just enjoy the space. The view is to die for and I am sure we had a better view than most accomodations in Cusco.
We loved our time here and thank you Katherine for making it possible.
Unfortunately I became ill during my trip to Peru and didn't get the chance to experience Katherine's apartment in Cusco. However, Katherine was very communicative and easy to reach, always responding quickly to my messages.
We spent an enjoyable five days in Cusco the apartment is largely as described - Katherine did her best to sort out the problem with the Internet connection but I understand there was a technical fault caused by the service provider.
Katherine is very warm and welcoming and generally responded to questions and problems the same day. The location, just above the Plaza de Armas is a great base with lots of restaurants and sights near by. The street in front of the building seems to be a favorite spot for views over the plaza. The apartment boasts these same views but also overlooks a large school. The other downside of the school is that is can be noisy in the late afternoon with instrument practice, but the shutters can be closed to block out most of the noise.
Katherine was very nice and welcoming. We were returning pretty late in the evening from Machu Picchu and she was able to accomadate us. She answered the phone and spoke with the taxi driver for the directions. Upon arriving, she gave us the keys, wi-fi codes, pamphlets, etc. There was a washer in the unit (no dryer). The apartment was well kept and cozy. The neighbor is great for partying! There were lots of clubs, bars, and nightlife within walking distance (5 minutes). However, it is located near a lot of stairs and on a hill. To walk to town you will have to walk up and down the stairs or all the way around. I would definitely recommend this apartments to friends and family.
Katherine was the best, always available, and most important, in our door if we needed! She gave us a warm welcome with coca tea and good talk about what we could do in Cuzco. She was more than our host, was also our tourist guide with indications of tour agency and booked our transfers to the airport. Always very concerned about our stay and if we were having a good time in Cuzco.
Her apartment have the best location, very close to the plaza de Armas. And is even better than the pictures!
