10 minute walk from your door:
Sacsayhuaman is the most significant ruin in the Cusco area and is also the closest to the city. Sacsayhuaman is thought to have been a fortress, with both military and religious significance.

Katherine was extremely helpful even going so far as to help us find our lost luggage at the airport. The apartment was large, clean and just off Plaza de Armas. The only issue was that there was often no water at all when we returned at night and only cold water about 50% of the other time. Overall a good option.
The location of this place is perfect, and Katherine was kind enough to pick us at the airport and give us a few tips. The apartment is pretty cool and would sure recommend.
Although there was some miscommunication about my reservation (costing me an extra night's stay), the accommodations were exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot with pretty good pressure, and the place was overall a nice retreat from the business of Cusco. There was also a bit of confusion about meeting Katherine to get our keys (the room is located inside of another hostel, and you need to wait in the front for Katherine in order to get in), but if this is addressed before you arrive I'm sure it will be fine. Katherine was overall very sweet and attentive, and to make up for the miscommunication and lost night, she offered a discounted third night (which we took her up on). The apartment is also exactly 1.5 blocks from Plaza de Armas, as advertised.
My girlfriend and I visited Peru for the first time and ended up needing a place to stay in Cusco for a night during our time in the mountain region. This place was great and had an amazing view of the city and was just two blocks from Plaza de Armas. There's a small police station just a couple doors down across the street and we felt no hesitation to walk around at night to restaurants and bars.
The loft itself was clean and spacious with a large comfy bed and wifi so we could update our family on the trip. As others have mentioned, there is no door for the toilet, just a curtain. It didn't bother us but just a little quirk. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit as it met all our expectations and ended up being a great experience.
Katherine walked the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. She arranged for us to have absolutely everything we needed to discover and re-discover Cuzco and Machupicchu.
The apartment has an awesome view and it’s centrally located. Only a couple of blocks away from the main Plaza (Cathedral) and just a few steps from the best Thai Peruvian restaurant in the World! :) Amazing food!!
It would’ve been almost perfect if we didn’t have to deal with water issues. Katherine gracefully discounted a night’s stay from the total bill. We appreciated this gesture very much. I’m sure the next guest will not have to deal with not having water at any given time during their stay.
Thanks much for everything Katherine!
happy to read your review and the positive experience you had in Cusco and our apartment.
The water supply issues in Cusco are a real frustration to all of us. As some of our other guests have commented, we have one of the best showers in all of Peru. When the water is shut off to the city the pump attached to our water tank takes over. As you discovered, it does not help if we cannot fill the tank!
Thanks for being a patient and understanding guest. Enjoy your travels and Thai food , one of my favorite cuisines.
There were a few problems with the apartment, but Katharine was always extremely attentive and there to fix them whenever I called. She also came by once just to make sure everything was ok. I really appreciated her bringing over an electric space heater when the pilot light on the gas heater kept going out and making me nervous.
Katherine also arranged a ride to the airport for me, which was much appreciated. The apartment itself is nice and spacious and couldn't be in a better location - within a 5-minute walk of Plaza de Armas but up on a hill overlooking the plaza. Great apartment!
sorry to hear about the few problems that arose during your stay. Looks like our scheduled maintenance needs some review. We have fixed several issues and are still working on ways to improve the water supply to the apartment (plumber is visiting again today). The city council is turning off the water supply to all of Cusco more frequently each day and its our greatest frustration at the moment. We are struggling to find way to combat it. We want to put in a larger water tank (currently 250ltr) but space and weight restrictions in the roof are making this difficult as well. There are days we cannot get enough water to fill the tank.
I'm glad you were still able to enjoys the place. We do try hard to make our place the best in Cusco and Katherine really is our best asset!
Take care and enjoy your globetrotting!
Could not have chosen a better place to stay in Cusco! The views from the apartment were phenomenal and the whole place felt like a welcoming home-from-home, especially after having done the Inca trail....
Massive bed, great shower, lots of mod-cons and perfectly located in the centre of town. Highly recommended.
AMAZING location!! And the apartment is quite big with lots of amenities such as washing machine, movies, cable, Internet etc. While the apartment has balconies facing the street, it is not noisy and we had a great sleep. Also great communication with the host. The attention is really good and they left a manual with all the information we needed for our stay. We will stay there for sure on our next visit to Cusco! the only inconvenience is the water shortage. While this is not the responsibility of the house owner and he is always clear about this, you have to plan ahead and save some water at night. Once we had been outside all day and when we returned at night we realized that there was no water to brush our teeth or wash our faces. Next time we were out all day we saved some water in a recipient just in case. Also it is important to mention that the bathroom has a curtain instead of a door, while this was not a major issue for us it might be for others.
Great apartment. Exactly what I was looking for. I am in Cusco 1-2 times a year to visit family in the Valley. Usually I'm in hostals but am so happy to have found this place. It's spacious, really comfy bed, great views of the city, safe area, the kitchen is well-prepared in case you want to cook, and the shower is wonderful-the best water pressure and amount of hot water I've had. Didn't meet Matthew, but Katherine fabulous. Warm and always accessible if I needed something, checked in to make sure everything was smooth but wasn't at all overbearing. Hope it's free when I get come back into town. Thanks so much!
great place, great view, the best bed in Peru. Our host Katherine was very helpful whilst Matt was away. Great great great
