** The Room **
This is very nice place in a super convenient location! The room has very fast wifi and a monitor that is host to Apple TV. This gives you Netflix access and music over a sound system as well as the ability to stream from your computer and view it on the monitor. You could happily pass your days away in the room, though you should obviously be checking out the city.
The room has bay windows that allow for some great sunshine, as well as curtains so you can sleep those extra hours in the morning.
** The Apartment **
There's a kitchen with a toaster, oven, stove-top, fridge, freezer etc. The usual suspects.
I have some housemates who are all awesome, loving, kind people. And great cooks!
Soothing, high-pressure shower.
** The Neighborhood **
5 minute walk from Haight street, and just under 15 minute walk to Golden Gate park. Great hood that isn't loud at night, though walk a few blocks to Divisadero and the bar scene is great!
The 5 Fulton bus is two blocks away and takes you all the way down to the Ferry building along Market St. Quite convenient.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sam's place. We were attending a music festival at Golden Gate Park, so his building was perfectly situated for us, we could quickly jump on a bus to the park, and could also quickly get into town. His room and street was also surprisingly quiet at night which was great but had cafes and bars in walking distance.
Sam was very nice and friendly, although unfortunately we didn't meet him until the last morning. We didn't really meet his flatmates, as, principally due to the festival, we seemed to be on contrasting schedules. Overall, we felt more like we were staying a hostel, which was fine. Although Sam's room was neat the rest of the house was a bit dirty dirty and quite messy most of the time. But it a share house with 5 or so other people, so as long as you know what to expect it is a great place to stay.
Room was great, and Sam was helpful getting around the city. Overall a pleasant experience.
Sam's place was a fantastic intro to SF -- everyone is so fun and welcoming, and I felt right at home. Definitely recommend!
I've stayed at Sam's place with my husband for 2 nights. Sam wasn't in town but he left us a note with many usefull informations - that was super kind! Our hosts (Sam's roommates) were super friendly and helpfull! Unfortunately, the place was very dirty and that made us feel uncomfortable. We expected much more for that money and were very dissapointed but I'm sure it would be better if Sam were in town.
