  • I had a wonderful stay at Claire's flat in Penny Lane. I didn't realize the Beatles song was about an area and her flat is right in the center of it. Even so, it was very quiet and relaxed. Claire is a lovely host and amiable person. I enjoyed talking with her in the evenings. The room was spacious and clean with a very nice en suite shower/toilet room. The bed was comfortable and large. She made breakfast food available as well. Would recommend staying with her, she is an experienced host with a great place.

  • Claire's apartment was the perfect place to return after an exhausting tour in the beautiful city of Liverpool. She provided all the important information about the city (restaurants, bars, transportation etc). Her place was clean and peaceful, easy to find and only 30' by bus away from the airport. We had our own bedroom with private bathroom, access to the kitchen (breakfast provided) and living room! Claire is a very sweet and open hostess. I definitely recommend her and her house!

  • Lovely stay in Claire’s apartment. The bedroom and en-suite were cosy, clean, comfortable and well-sized for two persons. (The double bed is an actual bed, not a camp one - I’d thought it might be a camp bed from the listing title.)

The apartment itself is in a nice neighbourhood, very close to Penny Lane and Allerton Road, where one can easily catch a bus to the city centre. Buses are very frequent; don’t know about the schedule but we never waited on the bus stop for more than 5 minutes. There is also a direct bus to Anfield and Goodison Park Stadiums. Although the apartment is not in the city centre, there are quite a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance, so you can go out for a beer or a nice meal without having to catch a bus.

Claire was very nice and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and offer suggestions of places to visit. She was also very flexible with check-in and check-out times, and always replied promptly to our Airbnb messages.

This was our first Airbnb experience renting a private room instead of an entire apartment, but it definitely won’t be last. :)

  • I was very nervous about my stay as this was my first experience as an Airbnb guest. However, Claire soon put my nerves at ease. She was such a wonderful host, very friendly and so accommodating. We stayed up most nights chatting and laughing away about anything and everything - not a good idea when I had to get up early for work the next day, haha.

Claire's apartment is lovely. It is clean, warm and in a secure complex. The en-suite room was perfect and the power shower alone is amazing!

I cannot recommend Claire and her apartment enough. I had such a great time that I am staying there again this week. Thanks for everything Claire! :-) xx

  • Claire and her apartment tick all the boxes in the great category for a stay in Liverpool. She has a lovely modern, warm and spacious place to stay in a very noce neighbourhood with local food fare, markets and pubs within walking distance. The bus to city central is also very close and frequent. Claire is an exceptional host, an excellent communicator, friendly and helpful with detailed local knowledge. She went out of her way to follow up on a request for some clothing we left behind. We can highly recommend Claire and her apartment for a stay in Penny Lane, Liverpool.

  • Claire's place is beautiful and she tops it all by being a very kind host. The bedroom is sizeable and the en-suite shower is very powerful. The location is ideal too. There are lots of cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and other shops nearby. It's really easy to get to the centre of Liverpool too. We went away feeling like we'd had a hotel experience.

  • Great place. Only a quick visit to Liverpool, but Claire and her place were great! Claire was very warm and welcoming. Apt. and room (with own bathroom) were spacious and clean, very cosy. Short 15-20 min bus ride into town (very well serviced bus route), and only some 25 mins from airport too. Area's lovely and has an array of cafe's, restaurants and a local tesco and boots. Heartily recommended.

  • It was my first experience with rbnb and it was just amazing.
The house was in beautiful area and nice complex and the apartment was nice, clean and tidy.
About Claire I just can say she was kind, very helpfully and polite anytime.
Once I arrived she gave me few tips about how to get to the cc where to go for dinner or any other stuff.
We also had a long chat Sunday night and I really enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for making my staying in Liverpool wonderful.

  • I think the building is very cool. The section of the building the apartment is built according to original specification. Room was very clean and tide. This is the only place I stayed that had a built in bathroom. It's very worthwhile perk. Claire is very welcoming host.

About
A little bit about me.......Well I'm pretty easy going, love music, my home is constantly filled with music from every genre. I really enjoy cooking, and try to pick up a local cook book in every country I visit, I love recreating the local dishes back home, its a wonderful, authentic way of recapturing the experiences had whilst travelling. I'm also pretty philosophical about life, I see the good in everyone, I go to Buddhist meditation classes once a week, nothing heavy, but I find it helps me stay positive, as lifes not always an easy ride. Lets see what else, Oh yes, I have been an airbnb host for almost nine months, and I can honestly say each and every one of my guests have added positively to my outlook on life. It does help that I love meeting new people, and consider myself very lucky to have a beautiful, tranquil home that I enjoy sharing with others. Well thats it, dont want to bore people too much, I look forward to meeting you :)
