Enjoy a relaxing escape with friends, family or colleagues in this newly renovated abode, nestled on a quiet, tree lined street. Located in the Historic Hudson Valley, this art filled home features an open floor plan that fits 5 people comfortably.

The space
This stylish, mid-century designer home provides for a great escape. The art-filled house is newly updated, combining the home's original details with modern amenities. The classic ranch floor plan fosters togetherness with friends, family or co-workers. Combined space allows for cooking, eating, and gathering or just relaxing on your own.

The fully updated kitchen includes new appliances, cooking essentials and plenty of counter space. A breakfast bar opens the kitchen to the dining area and flows into the living space.

While the home encourages guests to enjoy time together, it also has two bedrooms for time to relax alone or for a nap after you have completed your upstate New York adventure for the day. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, television, and master bathroom with a shower.

The cozy second bedroom also features a queen-sized bed, and close access to a full bath with a shower and bathtub.

Additionally, a media room with a flat screen TV doubles as a third bedroom if needed. The couch/daybed can accommodate an additional guest.

Aside from the inside space, this beautiful home also allows guests to continue conversation outdoors on the patio. The tree enclosed yard includes a Weber BBQ and plenty of seating space.

This home away from home will provide a convenient stay with the amenities of a charming small city, and access to all the scenic beauty that the Hudson Valley has to offer.

I'm a home furnishings designer, born & bred in upstate New York, and currently living and working in New York City. After re-discovering the beauty of the Hudson Valley, the charm and easy proximity of the City of Poughkeepsie (an easy and lovely train ride along the Hudson) I decided to purchase a second home here with a working studio space and a place to enjoy all of the activities and beauty that this area has to offer.
